IBM Selectric Typewriters. They never would have been in Kenya at that time. I think the Government got them in the late 60’s or early 70’s.

Is there some law saying this cant be a different copy? Yes. There are federal laws against using forged birth certificates to accomplish one's objectives.
You have to realize that there can be as many of these Certificates as were issued by the registrar's office on as many occasions and on as many dates as there were requests fulfilled, don't you?
So, there CERTAINLY could be different copies issued on different dates, just as there would be if you requested a copy your own birth certificate on June 4, 1994 and again on October 17, 2007.
This is NOT an issue.

IOW, There was no Republic of Kenya before December 12, 1964, it did not exist. As you yourself noted, the document is signed and dated ten months prior to that date. Ok, then how do you explain THIS?

So I guess when I introduce myself to one of my pts as Doctor, it is an arrogant affectation? Sure enough.
That isn't your name and EVERYONE has a job title, we just don't
replace our names with them. Or make them into handles on FR.
Highly arrogant.

Yes, Marlowe is an attorney, and he can tell you that even today, many court documents that need to be filled in and filed with the court come on a pad. An attorney can buy a whole pad, but he has to be on the ball, because they are often updated, and then the pad he bought, is no longer accepted by the court.
Anyway, for birth certificates back then, it is possible they just came on pads from a printer and were torn off when needed, filled in and filed.

Interesting. Because when I don’t they ask me when the doctor is coming in..... Sometimes titles are used for identification purposes, not arrogance.
However, even it that is not the case, someone who has sweat and worked to attain a titled degree is entitled to use it if they wish without arrogance. It is a simple acknowledgement of acheivement and position. Although I am older than my pastor, and hold technically a higher degree than he does, and we are friends, outside the home environment I always refer to him as Pastor or Reverend. He has earned it.

I reviewed the site and found numerous “wiki” links. I will discount it based on another reference I found from an online book based in the UK. I would rather not link it for obvious reasons. If you have noticed many online references have been update in the past week, including the CIA worldbook. Something to think about. See post 3463.

They had a Constitution. They were independent. A Republic is:
1. a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.
2. any body of persons viewed as a commonwealth.
3. a state in which the head of government is not a monarch or other hereditary head of state.
If they were independent in 63 and had a Constitution in-place that has not changed that much except amendments according to their site, I don't know what else they would be called.
It sounds like the difference was that in 64, they declared themselves a Sovereign Republic.
