Interesting. Because when I don’t they ask me when the doctor is coming in..... Sometimes titles are used for identification purposes, not arrogance.
However, even it that is not the case, someone who has sweat and worked to attain a titled degree is entitled to use it if they wish without arrogance. It is a simple acknowledgement of acheivement and position. Although I am older than my pastor, and hold technically a higher degree than he does, and we are friends, outside the home environment I always refer to him as Pastor or Reverend. He has earned it.
