why do people keep banning me everytime I put up interesting articles? I work for a website I think some of you are familiar with called phantirath weekly world news and each time we put somthing up on FR no matter how conservative it is it keeps getting banned. Whats the matter with it?! Damn man what are you marxist socialists communists? I just got a call this mroning from a Juwish friend of mine who said that you banned an important article about Zionism and Noam Federman and about how we were to support israel. I thought you guys supported Juws and others like him!? I mean you know that god is going to punish you if you dont support them and others like Noam Federman who are being downtrodden by the leftists and the Arabs! EVEN Pat Buchanan would be outraged by this! The Juws are wonderful people who have been a blessing to this nation and other nations in the world! Why is it you hypocrites complain about bias and then you shut us up just because you dont agree with us!? Who made you god and told us what we had to do anyway! This website has got to be the most fascist naziast place ive ever been! The Juws will win someday and when the Arabs are gone and when the Juws and rightous gentils go up top you will be atr the bottom! I demand an explanation for why you are doing this to me and my boss and the Juws!

Yeah it did have a sort of, "That's it?" feeling to it. But I think part of it was that they needed to be removed. They had been fighting so long that they literally did not know how to stop. And the Allied worlds were not going to let them continue the war so... It was not a reward. It was exile at best. A sort of death at worse. They would never see the results of their labors.
Worse yet, they both lost. To those that they thought of as inferior. Humans, Minbari, Narns were just pawns to be moved on the board. But the pawns rebelled and they won.
We are not going to do as you say any more and you can't make us. you can kill us but you can't make us do what you say.
Once that was established it ended because there was no way for it to continue.

Well, now. Im passing up the chance to watch the Monday night marathon of Stargate-SG1, but I appreciate that all of you nice people took your showers and you all smell very nice, with the possible exception of Asphalt, who seems to have a rather tarry odor.Tarry oder? The first day on this thread you told me I smell nice. Now you are changing your mind? That's unacceptable.

Correlation is not causation. It is also closest to the holidays. May as well blame St. Nick for an increase in suicides...St Nick would kick your a$$ but not make you off yourself. He's the patron saint of assault and battery, I kid you not.

His words (and he makes some good points, and I sometimes felt like he did in the last election--but I held my nose and voted for Bush, so don't jump all over me):
Why I am an undecided voter in the Presidential Race
As anyone who has listened to my radio show knows, I feel VERY strongly that the country would be MUCH better off if President Bush defeated Senator Kerry. I believe this more today than I ever have. However, I am no longer convinced that I myself will be voting for George W. Bush for President.
The reasons for my sudden indecision are many and are articulated in another editorial on this website entitled My Top 10 Grievances With President Bush. The straw that broke the proverbial camels back was the answer that the President gave to Bill OReilly when asked about the increasing problem of illegal immigration. Bushs dismissive, condescending, delusional, and deceitful answer suddenly made me realize that he doesnt give a damn about me or people like me in Southern California. He is not only making ZERO effort to try to win this state, it appears that he is pissing all over us in an attempt to make potential gains (or at least stave off possible losses) elsewhere. I suddenly asked myself the question, If he doesnt want my vote, why should I give it to him?
If I lived in a swing state where Kerry could actually be defeated I would certainly bite the bullet and vote without hesitation for Bush in an effort to keep Kerry out of the White House. But it is now clear that California is not in play and neither Bush nor Governor Schwarzenegger appear to be even trying to do anything about changing that. So clearly my vote is meaningless in the Electoral College and I am now left with what appear to be very limited reasons to vote for President Bush.
So, I am left with trying to decide how I can best express my opposition to what I see as the two main options in this Presidential campaign. I am most certainly not going to vote for Kerry or Nader, and I am not the type that will just stay home. I could leave the Presidential ballot blank, but that never gets reported and may not even get registered. That leaves either the Libertarian Party or the Constitution Party candidates. While I strongly disagree with both of those candidates on some of the issues, that is pretty much irrelevant because they have no chance of winning. It is not like a vote for either will suddenly much us more likely to pull out of Iraq.
There is one aspect of the situation that does give me pause. While the popular vote is technically immaterial, the liberals and their friends in the news media have tried to make that an issue. Theoretically that means that, in some very small way, each vote counts. However, I believe that Bush will win the popular vote regardless of what I (as well as anyone who might like the idea and do the same) do with my vote. I do, however, acknowledge that this is a legitimate concern and it is the main reason that I am still holding out the possibility that I may still vote for President Bush.
Please keep in mind that this thinking is only valid for California voters. Those of you in other states are most certainly NOT released from you obligation to hold your nose and vote for the Presidents reelection. Your thoughts and suggestions on my quandary are more than welcome.
----
Thanks for letting me know he was out there. I've listened to Boortz and couldn't find an online radio station with him on while I work. I'll try Ziglar instead. But he doesn't necessarily strike me as an LP voter based on the above comments. It will be interesting to see where he comes down differently, since you describe him as libertarian. He seems different from Boortz in that Boortz is a libertarian for Iraq and Ziglar may not be (from what's above).

They new races didn't win. At best, they could have fought to a stand still. At worst, annihilation on all sides. The Vorlons had them hopelessly out gunned and the Shadow hopelessly outnumbered. Without the First intervening, the Younger Races would not have stood a chance.
Rebellion? Shaking your fist under the nose of Leviathan. Without the First coming to their rescue, they would have been wiped from existence. Heroic, yes. Brave, yes. But hardly the triumph over adversity I could have connected with. I would never count on someone stronger to solve my problems for me. Instead, I would try to make myself stronger to survive.
Realizing that, it should be no mystery as to my disaffection with the ending of what was else-wise an excellent series.

Okay, now I think I have a better idea of the series you were referring to.
It does sound pretty interesting, especially the plot description, which sounds like a concept that could have been spun off from the setting in Blade runner.
I also found a blog written by this guy.

He's on KFI which you can get on the net in 3 hours.
If you are working now, Phil Henry comes on and he is a one man show himself.
A crass comedy where he fakes his audiance callers into thinking he has wierd guests. They are NOT wierd guests, but are ALL HIM.
He does a ton of voices and is quite good.

The real Saint Nicholas beat up arch heretic Arius in 325 AD. Apparently Arius couldn't stop talking bad about the Virgin Mary so Saint Nick opened a can of whoop a$$ on him.

Go easy on the umbrage, kid. Most people need to look it up in the dictionary.
"...a rather tarry odor." ... It's a JOKE! You picked your FReeper name. On your first day, I made a joke about your smelling nice because we were talking about paving over a troll.
Today, I made a jole about it because we were talking about body odors and perfumes.
On your last day, I may make a joke about it. After all, if something dreadful happens to you, it may be someone else's FAULT, but it's your A$$.
