A Virginia Young Democrat working for a Democrat-aligned voter registration group was caught filing applications for dead people, including a World War II veteran that died in 2014. PITTSBURGH -- Target 11 compared names from Allegheny County voter rolls to names on the Social Security master death index and found some surprises. Target 11 investigators found more than 9,000 dead people still registered to vote. Several of those listed as deceased showed up as having cast ballots in recent elections. Mark Wolosik, head of the Allegheny County board of elections, said the problem is a concern but, “I think the thing to keep in mind is when you look at it percentage-wise, it's not a very big number.”
