A British journalist who has challenged former Vice President Al Gore to a debate on global warming says the latest United Nations report on the purported impacts of climate change is a "prodigious overstatement" that was not developed by a scientific process, but rather a political one. The United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has released the second of four reports it plans to issue this year on global warming.
