The Honorable Michael B. Donley Secretary of the Air Force 1060 Air Force, Pentagon Washington, DC 20330-1670 Dear Mr. Secretary: I am writing to you about an issue of significant importance, the Light Air Support program to supply aircraft and training to the Afghanistan National Army Air Corps as well as support our partner building efforts with other allies. This is of interest to me as I was elected to Congress to protect the American taxpayer and to protect this country’s national interests and security. I served in Afghanistan training afghan officers to take on the responsibility of securing their...

Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, delivered a vintage performance Tuesday — full of confidence, never backing down — even when facing a somewhat restive audience posing sometimes hostile questions. Judging from the applause, most of the town hall audience of about 300 at the Pompano Beach Civic Center was supportive of West. And when several people who didn't like the congressman, what he was saying, or the format interrupted with shouts from the floor, the majority's displeasure was clear. Sweet mercy, bring me strong liquor in large containers, for I have just learned that Allen West is "not a kitten kind of guy." Yes. Allen West prefers puppies. Didja hear that? Puppies. This information comes atcha courtesy of the Sun Sentinel. No, it does not report that Allen West prefers puppies when looking for something to strangle with his bare hands, or that he enjoys biting off their horrible yapping heads when he tires of their demands for handouts. No. The Sentinel really is reporting that Allen West ... likes puppies. And that's not all! When Allen West planted...

Allen West for President!!! Well, not so fast. Just last week, the Shark Tank opined that Allen West should be seriously considered for the Presidential ticket in 2012.

At a townhall meeting hosted by Congressman Allen West on Monday evening in Pompano Beach, the Q&A segment of the meeting featured a Koran wielding Nezar Hamze, Executive Director of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Hamze confronted Congressman West and asked him to point out where in the Koran does it give marching orders to Muslims “to carry out attacks against Americans and innocent people”. West quickly pointed out that the Koran was written long before America even existed and that it does indeed tell believers to kill infidels, and then proceeded to chronicle a lengthy list of...
