I am working 2nd shift (1PM to 10 PM local AZ time) so I was running my errands in the late morning. When I spotted the Weinermobile, and the driver exiting, I saw he was going to have his lunch at Culver's, a place that doesn't even sell hot dogs, much less Oscar Meyer hot dogs. For those unfamiliar with Culver's, it is a fast food hamburger/chicken/fish/sandwich/custard joing that is headquartered in Wisconsin. Founf in the midwest, SE, and now SW. It is a couple of notches above McDonald's etc. in quality, presentation and cleanliness. It was also rated...

Oscar Mayer has made a new addition to its "WienerFleet." On Monday, the iconic hot dog maker — perhaps best known for its legendary Weinermobile — announced the debut of the WeinerDrone. The "first unmanned hot dog-carrying aircraft" is designed to carry and deliver one hot dog at a time, dropping the weiner into the hands of customers in remote locations from the sky. The WeinerDrone, along with the Weinermobile and the rest of the WeinerFleet, is traveling around the US this summer to deliver hot dogs and highlight Oscar Mayer's new recipe. In May, the company announced it had...

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be off the road for a while. The truck slammed into a pole near Harrisburg today. No one was hurt, but the truck is pretty banged up, including a smashed windshield and serious damage to the front of the “bun” fender. Oscar Mayer has several “wienermobiles,” all shaped like a hot dog bun.

Carlos Danger Got Two Votes For New York City Mayor National Journal Matt Berman 4 hours ago The official New York City Democratic mayoral primary vote count is in. And two people wrote in Anthony Weiner's alter-ego. According to the New York City Board of Elections, two write-in votes for mayor went to "Carlos Danger," the online name that Anthony Weiner used for explicitly sexual conversations with a woman after he had resigned from Congress. For some context: Bill Clinton also received two write-in votes for mayor. Former New York City Mayor David Dinkins received one vote. So did Noam...

Disgraced Democrat Anthony Weiner dramatically resigned today after weeks of mounting pressure in the wake of a humiliating sexting scandal. Speaking from the same building where he launched his political career almost 20 years ago, he apologised to his wife, party and his staff for the wave of scandal and shame he has brought upon them. His resignation comes after immense pressure from Democrats and the President to quit in order to save the party, not to mention his own family, further embarrassment. He made the decision after having 'long discussions' with his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, who arrived back...

Disgraced Democrat Anthony Weiner is set to dramatically resign today in the wake of his sexting scandal. He made the decision after having 'long discussions' with his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, who arrived back in the U.S. from a diplomatic trip to the Middle East and Africa this week, friends said. Democrats have been piling the pressure on the congressman to resign for days in order to save the party, not to mention his own family, further embarrassment.

Friday night Anthony Weiner, Democrat from New York City and Client Number Nine’s successor in the House, had a problem on Twitter. His account, @RepWeiner, had posted on it a rather inappropriate message. The Twitter post and the image on YFrog have since been deleted. To attempt to be delicate about it, the linked photo (posted under Weiner’s YFrog account) was of a man in in somewhat tight-fitting underwear, with just that area of his body visible. Big Government has the photo if you want to judge for yourself.

Here are a few of the people Rep. Weiner looked to for his news and entertainment… But mostly entertainment. [SNIP]

New York Rep. Anthony Weiner has retained an attorney to advise him “what civil or criminal actions should be taken” after a lewd picture was sent from his Twitter account. Weiner, who has represented part of New York City since 1998, says online hacking led to a close-up shot of a man’s underwear being sent from his official Twitter account Saturday night. Dave Arnold, a spokesman for Weiner, said the Congressman’s staff is “loathe to treat” this incident as more than a prank “but we are relying on professional advice.”

Finland's sausage king, a 27-year-old millionaire, set a new national record when he was served up a 170,000-euro (216,000-dollar) fine for speeding, it was reported. Jussi Salonoja was caught last Thursday motoring along at 80 kilometers per hour (50 miles an hour) in a zone limited to half that speed, the Finnish tabloid Iiltalehti said on its internet site. The price of the fine was scaled to his income, in conformity with Finnish law on traffic violations. Salonoja, heir to a sausage empire, was already fined 40,000 euros back in 2000 for cruising at 200 kilometers per hour on the...
