<p>AUSTIN, Texas -- U.S. and Mexican authorities say a Mexican state police commander investigating the reported shooting of an American tourist on a border lake plagued by pirates has been killed.</p> <p>Ruben Rios, spokesman for the Tamaulipas state prosecutor's office, says Commander Rolando Flores, the head of state investigators in the border city of Ciudad Miguel Aleman, was killed.</p>

CHANDLER, AZ - Police are looking for three additional suspects after a man was found stabbed and decapitated inside a Chandler apartment and a nearby resident was arrested in connection with the slaying. A police statement issued on Monday says officers were called to the apartment about 5:30 a.m. the previous morning. After discovering the slain man, detectives began an investigation and eventually arrested 36-year-old Crisantos Moroyoqui. DALLAS — Drug Enforcement Administration agents — helped by an army of local and state police — raided homes and businesses across North Texas on Wednesday, targeting what they called one of the largest methamphetamine rings in the nation. DEA says a notorious and violent drug cartel called "La Familia" was distributing the meth and cocaine out of Dallas. SWAT teams arrested dozens of people, confisicated numerous weapons and drugs.
