<p>INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police have changed their description of the crash that killed Indiana Republican U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski, saying Thursday that it was the SUV in which she was a passenger that crossed a state highway’s centerline and caused the head-on crash.</p>

Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski died Wednesday afternoon in a car crash, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy confirmed in a statement on social media. McCarthy on Twitter shared a statement -- "with a heavy heart" -- that he said was from Walorski's office. "Jackie was killed in a car accident this afternoon. She has returned home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Chris. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. We will have no further comment at this time," the statement read.

Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) has died in a car crash in Elkhart County, Indiana, along with three other people, according to local media reports. A car with Walorski and two other passengers was heading southbound on state Route 19 when a car heading northbound veered left and collided with the southbound car, according to a CBS affiliate in South Bend, Indiana. All four occupants of both vehicles, one of them apparently the congresswoman's communications director, are dead.

NAPPANEE Indiana — U.S Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, 58, is one of four people killed in a Wednesday wreck near Nappanee. The crash occurred at the intersection of Ind. 19 and Ind. 119, where one car was heading south and another heading north at 12:32 p.m. The other two occupants of the southbound vehicle Walorski was in are identified as Zachery Potts, 27, Mishawaka, and Emma Thomson, 28, of Washington, D.C. The sole occupant of the northbound vehicle, Edith Schmucker, 56, Nappanee, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Further details to follow as they become available.

House Republican leaders abruptly dropped plans late Wednesday to vote on an anti-abortion bill amid a revolt by female GOP lawmakers concerned that the legislation's restrictive language would once again spoil the party's chances of broadening its appeal to women and younger voters. In recent days, as many as two dozen Republicans had raised concerns with the "Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act" that would ban abortions after the 20th week of a pregnancy. I was at this event yesterday and it was off the hook! Jackie Walorski packed 1200 people in the hall and apparantly they were only expecting 500. This is a congressional seat that was held by a Republican four years ago. Blue DINO (Blue Dog In Name Only) Joe Donnelly, has tried to distance himself from Pelosi and his votes in favor of TARP, Socialized Medicine and any big government project his party needs him for. Walorski is an unapologetic conservative State Rep here in Indiana and her toughness reminds me of Michelle Bachmann. Her best line of the night...
