This week’s White House Report Card finds President Joe Biden muttering through another week that didn’t help his party’s chances in the 2022 congressional midterm elections just about five weeks away.
The highlights of the week were continued increasing inflation, a surprise decision to rip 770,000 students out of the college loan forgiveness program, Russia’s annexation of four Ukrainian territories, and Biden’s shocking decision to call out for the late Jackie Walorski, an Indiana Republican congresswoman who died in a car crash in August, during a speech.
Followed by a bumbling explanation by the White House press secretary on why the president forgot about Walorski’s death, the incident fueled concerns about Biden’s mental state.
Both of our graders, conservative analyst Jed Babbin and Democratic pollster John Zogby, noted the incident. Babbin called it “pathetic,” but Zogby was more forgiving.

Coming home from work yesterday afternoon, there was a group of about 15-20 dopey people standing in the median waving “vote blue” signs. They reminded me of Brandon…a lot.
I was driving a branded car and could not properly acknowledge my opinion of their suggestion, but during my brief encounter I didn’t hear any horns honking or see anything other than the international middle finger signal, we are a diverse tourist community, hahaha.
I have long held the belief that if you really want something screwed up beyond repair, just put a Democrat in charge of it.
I have not yet been proven to be wrong.

The Walorski flub is not just representative of the President’s increasingly evident cognitive decline, nor even just the incompetence of the White House’s first-ever black/lesbian/immigrant spokesperson (aka “Cringe” Jean-Pierre). It’s a failure of the entire Administration writ large. They could have easily written some remarks for Biden to laud the representative as part of the group that engineered the event - how it is part of her legacy and a shame she did not live to take part, blah blah blah. This could have helped Biden follow through on his claim of wanting less devisiveness in our body politic. But no. The President’s staff probably never considered any such remarks, simply because Walorski was a conservative. They would n’t even allow the playing of a video tribute to her at the event so long as Biden and the rest of the staff were present. Shameful and sickening - this is how low these people are.
There has never been such open and dishonest duplicity about such an obvious and glaring fact. Trump would have been removed 10 times for the same behavior. If the media and Democrats had a shred of credibility left after going all in on Russiagate, it’s certainly gone now. They’re totally off the rails in a fantasy world where there are no facts and nothing is real.
If you had read more into this event, you would note that there was an entire section devoted to a video presentation about the late congresswoman. Biden apparently "forgot" that as well or was never told such a tribute was going to be made.
Clearly, with Biden, rehearsal is futile. His staff probably don’t care at this point, and they know they’re not fooling anyone, but the election rigging is in place so let him bleep himself in front of all, it’s cool.

Vote for us we’ll give you, not those whites, hurricane relief funds.

Now conservatives have at least two sharp arrows of passive defiance in our quiver. The first, of course was “Let’s Go Brandon!”. The second was the baffling blunder of “Where’s Jackie?”.
I would buy a coffee cup if printed with the slogan of “Where’s Jackie “, and I only rarely drink hot coffee.
The only downside being that Jackie’s surviving family may not think it’s so funny. For their sakes, I hope they learn to just ignore the whole thing.
This is really about Uncle Joe, not about her.

Biden, Harris, Pelosi, and Jean-Pierre are all cognitively and linguistically challenged. Never seen such a phenom in our government.
