Sharon Stone, 64, is mourning the loss of her brother Patrick Stone, who died suddenly Sunday in Pennsylvania. He was 57. The coroner’s office told TMZ that Patrick suffered a sudden cardiac death due to heart disease. It’s unclear whether he was hospitalized at the time of his death. SNIP River was Patrick and Tasha’s 11-month-old son who died of organ failure in August 2021.

A cargo truck jammed with people who appeared to be Central American migrants rolled over and crashed into a pedestrian bridge over on a highway in southern Mexico on Thursday, killing at least 49 people and injuring nearly five dozen others, authorities reported. Luis Manuel Moreno, the head of the Chiapas state civil defense office, said a preliminary estimate listed 49 dead and 58 injured. He said about 21 of the injured had serious wounds and were taken to local hospitals.

AUSTELL — The victim of a fatal wrong-way crash Saturday afternoon has been identified as Marine Lance Corporal Gregory M. Suedmeyer. Cobb police said Suedmeyer, 21, and his 19-year-old wife, Katelyn Suedmeyer, were driving just before 5 p.m. on Interstate 20 at Six Flags Drive when their green 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage sedan collided head-on with a gray 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. SEATTLE – The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says a deputy, critically wounded in a shootout a week ago, has died. Deputy Kent Mundell's wife was at his side Monday evening when doctors turned off life support. Officials say Dep. Mundell passed quickly and died at 5:04 p.m. Mundell and Sgt. NEW YORK -- The body of a 9-year-old developmentally disabled boy was found in a laundry chute at an East Harlem health care center Tuesday. The boy, identified by police as Frashawn Jones, of Brooklyn, lived at the Specialty Hospital at the Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center, a residence for the disabled. Staff had reported him missing at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, and his body was found in the chute around 8:45 a.m., the facility said in a statement. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.
