Ron DeSantis asked Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday to arrange a head-to-head debate that would allow the Florida governor to take on former President Trump.
“Well, Sean, I don’t think we’ve spoken since that debate, and the reaction that I’ve gotten has been incredible in terms of obviously being able to show that freedom works, and the California model’s a failure, what that means for the country,” DeSantis said.
DeSantis praised Hannity’s moderating skills and suggested he hold additional debates with either of his top competitors in the presidential primary

The way things have gone so far I think it would be a bad idea for both Trump and Desantis.

If by ‘moderating they mean talking about himself. Yeah, he’s great at that.
The purpose of a debate is to vet candidates - Trump is the met vetted human being in the history of the world.
His decision to skip the debates makes perfect sense and seems to have worked out quite well for him so far.

DeSantis would be better off asking Hannity to build him a time machine so he could travel back a year and avoid making the WORST decision of his life... namely running for President despite Trump also running.

What is Trump’s 2024 agenda - specifically? Shouting from a podium at a rally and calling people third-grade names is not a plan. I won’t blindly vote for someone who either refuses to , or is unable to lucidly lay out a vision for the country. “I wuz robbed” is not a positive message. He is not an incumbent, sitting president and he should have to defend himself in some sort of debate.
He needs to delete Rove’s number.
