On Thursday, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral and longtime White House Doctor Ronny Jackson withdrew his nomination to be the next Veteran's Affairs Secretary after being accused of professional misconduct through media reports. CNN reported earlier this week, on anonymous sourcing, that during an overseas trip in 2015 Jackson got drunk and belligerently banged on a female colleague's hotel door. CNN also reported the Secret Service stopped Jackson and that agents were worried he might wake up President Obama. Turns out, the Secret Service has no record of the incident (bolding is mine)."Over the last 48 hours, media  outlets have  alleged that U.S. Secret...

Every time Donald Trump discusses issues he hopes to tackle as president, he always mentions the need to make sure US veterans are taken care of. A strong candidate for the job who is currently being considered for Secretary of Veterans Affairs is former Senator Scott Brown. American Thinker interviewed him and some veterans about what issues need to be tackled. If anyone has the right stuff to clean up the mess within the VA it is Scott Brown. His work experiences will help him tackle the many issues. At the age of nineteen he enlisted, and soon was commissioned...

It’s been six months since President Obama vowed there would be major changes to the Department of Veterans Affairs. A new VA Secretary is on the job and has said he plans to fire up to 1,000 people in the agency and hire nearly 30,000 medical professionals. But Pete Hegseth, CEO of Concerned Veterans for America, explained this morning that when it comes to long wait times for a doctor’s appointment, nothing has changed. […] … The head of the Phoenix VA, where the whole scandal started earlier this year, is still on paid administrative leave. “No justice, no accountability...
