<p>A proposed law that would allow many undocumented immigrants to apply for California driver's licenses was approved by the state Senate today.</p> <p>The bill now heads to the Assembly. Both houses last year approved similar legislation, but it was vetoed by Gov. Gray Davis because of security concerns.</p>

Bush of the United States and Vicente Fox of Mexico announced Saturday that they would continue efforts to reach an agreement on Mexican migration to the United States, to help poor Mexican farmers and other common interests. The Mexican president also expressed his support for tackling the threats posed by Iraq and North Korea. Both are believed to be trying to develop weapons of mass destruction.
