<p>LONG PRAIRIE, MINN. -- Rodger Johnston set out to make a realistic war memorial to honor men and women who he says have not received their due.</p>
<p>What he helped create was a four-story model of Mount Suribachi, which was scaled by U.S. Marines during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. The Japanese island became the backdrop for the famous photograph of a group of Marines raising the American flag.</p>
