I do believe we have to give credit where credit is due. The people selected by POTUS Trump, sans Gaetz, have or are being approved for their Cabinet positions. Every one of them, sans Gaetz and it has occurred about has quickly as we could hope. Without saying too much or drawing attention to himself, Senator Thune obviously gets a lot of credit for pulling the GOP Senators together and getting the job done. Senator Thune certainly has my respect, and I admire his approach, which is directly opposite of his nemisis, Chucky Schumer.

There is a general theme visible, one of a large scale, perhaps described as unity; perhaps described as healing; perhaps described as a new era in Americanism. The Trump Doctrine (which few really understand) in combination with the cabinet assembly, is a great indicator of what lies ahead. What President Ronald Reagan was to Generation X, President Donald Trump hopes to be for Generation Z; you can see it in everything he does. A transformative figure that changes the way the American people view and interact with government, with his own unique and modern twist on it. In essence, what...

The Trump-installed General Counsel of the National Security Agency has been put on administrative leave a day after starting the role, due to a Department of Defense inspector general probe, CNN reported. Michael Ellis's installation just before President Joe Biden took office garnered criticism... ...Ellis's appointment came shortly after President-elect Joe Biden was projected to win the 2020 election in November. During that same month, the Washington Post reported that Democratic Sens. Mark Warner and Jack Reed asked the Pentagon's inspector general to investigate Ellis's appointment on the grounds of "improper political influence." "...press accounts of White House involvement create...

General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who once wanted to understand the imaginary “white rage,” will be stepping down this fall. It’s just in time for him as the Biden administration looks to go to war with China, Russia, and their allies with no money, open borders, a mentally challenged president, and a history of failures. Our military is the best, but the leadership is lacking. Appointed chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by President Donald Trump, Milley will be retiring at the age of 65 as the nation’s highest-ranking member of the U.S....

In recent weeks, Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell several times. He doesn’t like that Powell is leading the Fed to raise interest rates.Past presidents avoided such comments so they wouldn’t appear to be interfering. But Trump doesn’t care about appearances. The Fed is somewhat insulated from electoral politics. The chair and board members have fixed terms. Its composition changes slowly... but it doesn’t have to.Tucked away deep inside the Fed’s founding law is a provision Trump could use to completely rebuild the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.Markets should pay attention. I don’t think they are. Breaking Precedent A common perception, even among Fed...
  • McCain’s Subcommittee Staff Director Urged IRS to Engage in “Financially Ruinous” Targeting

Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen. John McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner, urged top IRS officials, including then-director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner, to “audit so many that it becomes financially ruinous.” Kerner was appointed by President Trump as Special Counsel for the United States Office of Special Counsel.

Wednesday morning, news broke of the latest addition to the incoming Trump administration as South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R) accepted the president-elect’s offer to serve as ambassador to the United Nations. And the immediate response from the Left and from the trolls was, frankly ... completely predictable.

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday chose South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to be the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Haley was an outspoken Trump critic throughout much of his campaign, yet she's now poised to be the first female Cabinet-level official in the Trump administration. "Governor Haley has a proven track record of bringing people together regardless of background or party affiliation to move critical policies forward for the betterment of her state and our country," Trump said in a statement. "She is also a proven dealmaker, and we look to be making plenty of deals. She will be...
