The Army is showing no signs of curtailing its deployments to Europe as the war in Ukraine continues to grind on. On Wednesday the Army announced that about 3,400 soldiers with the 101st Airborne Division’s 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team will head to Eastern Europe this fall, as will 200 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters. The units will deploy primarily to Romania as well in Southeastern Europe and to the continent’s “High North” region that includes Scandinavian countries, Army officials said. Among the 101st troops are infantry units from the division’s storied 187th Infantry Regiment, known as the...

John Gibson, the CEO of the video game publisher responsible for the titles Chivalry and Killing Floor, is out of a job after he publicly voiced his pro-life views in the wake of Texas’ so-called “Heartbeat bill,” which makes it illegal to surgically abort a fetus once cardiac activity is detected in the fetus. Posting on Twitter, the Tripwire Interactive boss wrote that he was “proud of the [United States Supreme Court] affirming the Texas law banning abortion for babies with a heartbeat.” Gibson stated that the reason he was speaking out on the issue was because of how vocal...

The three previous bombings this month, over an 11-day period, killed two people and injured two others. Those three bombs were left as packages on doorsteps, while Manley said Sunday's device was different: It was placed on the side of the road. The victims were injured either while riding their bikes, or pushing them, Manley said. "It is very possible that this device was activated by someone handling or triggering a tripwire," Manley said, adding that the mechanism used to set off the explosion remained "unconfirmed."

Four days ago we revealed the GOPe plan to go “Full Mississippi” against the candidacy of Donald J Trump – today they did exactly that !!  When little known Chris McDaniel beat entrenched republican senator Thad Cochran in the first Mississippi primary of 2014 his successful campaign triggered a series of events that became known simply as “Mississippi ’14“. Pay close attention to the faces in the graphic above, as we update recent events you will note the exact same names and faces. In July of 2014 – the entrenched DC republican elite developed a plan to destroy McDaniel before the run-off primary. They decided to...

South Korea's military believes a torpedo fired from a North Korean submarine sank its navy ship last month, based on intelligence gathered jointly with the United States, a news report said on Thursday. The Yonhap news agency report appears to be the clearest sign yet that Seoul blames Pyongyang for the sinking, thought to have killed 46 sailors in what would be one of the deadliest incidents between the rivals since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War.

In the week after the shootings at Virginia Tech, Congress is inching toward a legislative response, with an unlikely pair of lawmakers teaming up to push a bill to strengthen background checks to prevent the mentally ill and some others from buying guns. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, (D-N.Y.), whose husband was killed and son seriously wounded by a gunman on a Long Island commuter train in 1993, has enlisted the aid of an unabashed backer of gun rights and former board member of the National Rifle Association, Rep. John Dingell, (D-Mich.). “John Dingell is Mr. NRA,” McCarthy said. As she drafted...

DMZ Twist: U.S. Retreat Unsettles North Korea By JAMES BROOKE EOUL, South Korea, June 10 ?When the Pentagon announced its plans to pull American troops away from the border with North Korea, attention focused mostly on South Korea and its objections to losing the protection of the so-called tripwire. What was largely overlooked were the protests from the party that felt most threatened by the change: North Korea. The tripwire, it seems, works both ways. Ever since the armistice ending the Korean War was signed on July 27, 1953, North Korea has bitterly denounced the presence of American garrisons near...
