Modesto, Calif. -- Scott Peterson's mother is seeking $35,000 from Laci Peterson's estate for mortgage payments and other costs she paid to maintain the couple's home after her son was arrested for killing his pregnant wife. Jackie Peterson filed court papers March 27 asking to be reimbursed for mortgage payments, property taxes, utility bills and home repairs she said she made on Scott and Laci Peterson's house between April 2003 and February 2005.
