Lyin' Tim Walz Wants To Be Your Neighbor CHICAGO—After listening to Wednesday night's keynote speaker, vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, an MSNBC reporter observed that the Minnesota governor and his family were "so remarkably normal after what we've been through the last four years." It wasn't entirely clear if the comment was intended as a dig at the dysfunctional Biden family, or if Democrats have spent so much time this week vowing to "turn the page" and embrace the future that their supporters have simply forgotten they still control the White House. "In Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and the personal choices they make. And even if we wouldn't make those same choices for ourselves, we've got a golden rule: mind your own damn business." Is that why Walz encouraged Minnesotans to...

A local self-advocacy group for people with developmental disabilities is asking Columbus and Franklin County to officially retire the word handicap whenever new accessibility signs are erected. The advocates want the old description replaced with accessible, the wheelchair symbol or, perhaps even better, a zippy new icon recently adopted in New York City that looks like a wheelchair figure on the move. “With handicap, that sounds like they’re making fun of us,” said Marci Straughter, a member of the Self-Advocate Advisory Council of the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. “It’s time for a change, and we want to make...

Yes, even if he chooses to continue forward. It's not that Paul Loscocco was such a valuable player on that campaign, quite the contrary. But he was Cahill's hand-picked choice, just as John...
