She's b-a-a-a-ck! Remember Dr. Barbara Hatch Rosenberg? She's the tenured Marxist activist who from circa October 2001 until August, with the media's consent, manipulated coverage of last fall's anthrax attacks, in which five people were murdered and over a dozen sickened by anthrax-contaminated letters. She also engineered the smear campaign that sought to railroad scientist Dr. Steven J. Hatfill for the anthrax attacks. On September 22, 2002, Rosenberg published a long op-ed essay in the Los Angeles Times, in which she sought to resurrect her discredited theory, according to which the anthrax killer was an insider from the American biodefense...

Wednesday has certainly not been a dull news day, and there’s still about half of it left as of this writing. To start, we got the bombshell press conference by the House Oversight Committee detailing an alleged pay-to-play scheme run by the Biden Family. Millions of dollars changed hands through a network of mysterious companies, enriching a long list of the president’s relatives. That investigation will now move into its next phase, which will include subpoenaing bank records to try to track down where all the money ended up.The thread begins here, but some highlights include the fact that “a network...
  • Eating late might make you obese, confirms new study. Good news? Eat early and keep fat at bay

The results revealed that eating later had a ‘profound effect on hunger’ and appetite-regulating hormones leptin and ghrelin, which influence our drive to eat. Specifically, leptin, which signals satiety, decreased across the 24 hours in the late eating condition compared to the early eating conditions. Nutritionists and dieticians decode the findingsIf you are one of those who believes in late dinners and midnight snacking, then know that you alone are the cause of many illnesses and conditions. Now these are completely avoidable if you shift the heavier food during the earlier part of the day, preferably in the first half....

Jilin Province in China has announced that efforts will continue to ensure that spring plowing continues despite a province-wide COVID-19 lockdown. However, online videos showed police interrupting farmers working in the fields throughout China. Fearing the delay in spring plowing could lead to a food shortage, analysts say the crisis is beyond fallow fields, viable seeds and fertilizers are the real crisis Chinese farmers are facing. Lockdown Threatens Food SupplyJilin, located in China’s corn belt, is an important processing and production region for the country’s cereals. The authorities locked down the entire province on March 14. The lockdown has affected...
  • The Best Time to Take Your Supplements: Your body uses vitamins and minerals in different ways—and timing makes a difference

If you are taking supplements, two things are critical to get the most out of them: quality and timing. You need to start with quality products made by reputable manufacturers, and you need to know the best time to take your supplements, including which ones should and shouldn’t be taken along with others. We’re not going to talk about quality and reputation here. Instead, let’s discuss the timing of your supplement use and how you can optimize the rewards from each of your choices. One approach to supplement use is to consider which ones to take during three main parts of...

  • Timing doesn't line up for Trump to have incited violence at the Capitol

Based on this information, it appears that the breakdown of the barricades began at least 12 minutes before Trump's speech ended, by people who were over a mile and a half away from Trump. Although the loudspeaker system was massive, it is doubtful that the people bringing down the barricades could hear Trump from the loudspeaker system. Extremely vivid videos of the prelude to and a breach of barricades and entry into the Capitol Building are here and here on a YouTube channel that identifies "independent photojournalist Jon Farina" as the videographer. It does not appear that people in the...

Theo Anthony, the director and writer of the new documentary Rat Film, bookends the narrative with the following quote: “Before the world became the world, it was an egg. Inside the egg was dark. A rat nibbled the egg and let the light in. And the world began.” The quote may not quite make sense until the end when it resurfaces and can be placed in context with the rest of the film. Rat Film tells the story of bureaucratic oppression on Baltimore’s lower-class and minority citizens, but it does so through the Norway rat. Anthony doesn’t use the rat...
  • Ancient microbes yield clues to ice age timing

    Cosmos Magazine ^ | 08 March 2019
For several million years, the Earth cycled through ice ages at a regular pace, but then, 1.25 million to 700,000 years ago, something changed: ice ages went from lasting 40,000 years to 100,000. … By looking at the microscopic shells of microorganisms called foraminifera, Adam Hasenfratz of the Geological Institute in Zürich, Switzerland, and colleagues, find evidence of a reduction in deep water circulation, causing less carbon dioxide to be released into the air. Oceanic changes in the Antarctic Zone could have ensured “that glacial conditions persisted despite orbital changes to the contrary”, the study says. The new research, presented...
  • Re Ford: Are Psychologists Psychoanalysed?

Pardon the vanity, but an interesting question occurred to me last night. This woman, Ford, is a licensed Psychologist, right? Now, if I understand it right, every psychiatrist has to undergo analysis before entering practice. Doesn't the same (or an equivalent) hold true for psychologists? If so, wouldn't this incident and her allegations have come to light back then? I think the timing of her "discovery" back prior to the 2012 election is as suspicious as anything else she has said. Comments?

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore...

I think Trump has enough cover for Firing Comey. In fact I think it shows the real genius of Trump. The Democrats have called for Comey to be fired on several occasions and were highly critical of him. Trump didn't fire him within the first month because the heat would be to great. Trump waited about 4 months before firing him and actually firing him during a convergence of confluences. Regarding Hillary's reappearance and continued criticism of Comey, the media jumping on that band wagon, the continued criticism from the Democrats and the admissions that there is no evidence of...

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro told Army Radio on Monday that he regretted the timing of remarks he made last week that were critical of Israeli policies in Judea and Samaria. Shapiro made the controversial remarks at the Institute for National Security Studies conference in Tel Aviv last Monday. Earlier the same day, Israeli terror victim Dafna Meir had been laid to rest in Jerusalem after being stabbed to death by a Palestinian assailant in Otniel the previous day and another Israeli woman, Michal Froman, was wounded in a stabbing in Tekoa. In his speech, Shapiro said, "Too many...

It's inevitable: At some point, teenage kids just aren't that into their parents anymore. Parent Barack Obama, who happens to be president, set out to combat that trend by hanging out with his teenage girls on a New York overnighter. The trio, plus some of the girls' friends, seemed intent on packing a lot into their 24 hours together in the city. But no one was out of the hotel door too early on a rainy Saturday morning after zigzagging around Manhattan in dad's motorcade into the wee hours on Friday night. They finally emerged about 11:30 a.m., as the...

As families and schoolchildren hunkered down in storm shelters to avoid a massive tornado today near Oklahoma City, a liberal “comedian” found time to use the disaster to attack conservatives. The subtext of a tweet from “Daily Show” co-creator Lizz Winstead was clearly meant to insult the pro-life and family values people who live in the state of Oklahoma, one of the most Republican-oriented states in the nation. At a time when “PrayforOklahoma is the highest trending topic on Twitter, conservatives noted Winstead’s lack of class. This is the same Winstead who attacked Michele Bachmann on abortion and raises funds...

He wanted soda. He got soda. To the faaaaaaaaace!!!! Not sure what exactly is going on here, but $100 says that alcohol was involved. A painful bee sting is the price you've got to pay for a photo as awesome as this. "Pleased to meet you, concrete." "It is the last time you'll sh*t on me!" His thoughts became a shadow.
