Pardon the vanity, but an interesting question occurred to me last night. This woman, Ford, is a licensed Psychologist, right?
Now, if I understand it right, every psychiatrist has to undergo analysis before entering practice. Doesn't the same (or an equivalent) hold true for psychologists?
If so, wouldn't this incident and her allegations have come to light back then? I think the timing of her "discovery" back prior to the 2012 election is as suspicious as anything else she has said.
Comments?
I’ve always heard they have a high incidence of mental illness / suicide. But come on she’s more an aging surf girl than a psychologist. Her advice for all this was from “beach friends”.
Perhaps so, but that didn't help Harambe the Go-rilla, did it?
Kav ruined her life don’t you know? She’s an overpaid PhD.
Payola wannabe! She knows a lot more than she got credit for.
HO IS DR BLASEY FORD?
WELL, BESIDES BEING A PROFESSOR AT THE OFF BRAND UNIVERSITY, SHE ALSO WORKS AT A MAJOR UNIVERSITY DOWN THE STREET FROM PALO ALTO. SHE JUST SO HAPPENS TO HEAD UP THE CIA UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY.
CHRISTINE BLASEYS BROTHER, RALPH THE THIRD, USED TO WORK FOR THE INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM OF BAKER, HOSTETLER. THE FIRM CREATED FUSION GPS, THE COMPANY WHO WROTE THE RUSSIAN DOSSIER. THEY LATER ADMITTED IT WAS ONLY A COLLECTION OF FIELD INTERVIEWS.
BAKER HOSTETLER IS LOCATED IN THE SAME BUILDING WHERE THE CIA OPERATES THREE COMPANIES CALLED: RED COATS INC. ADMIRAL SECURITY SERVICES AND DATAWATCH THEY ARE OPERATED BY RALPH BLASEY II. HE IS THE FATHER OF CHRISTINE AND RALPH III.
CHRISTINE AND RALPH IIIS GRANDFATHER WAS NICHOLAS DEAK. FORMER CIA DIRECTOR WILLIAM CASEY ACKNOWLEDGED DEAKS DECADES OF SERVICE TO THE CIA
My father worked for years in VA psyche wards. He told me several times that his impression of shrinks was that they went into it to analyze themselves.
She’s a psycho.
I remember in college being told to never take a Psych course from a woman professor, because they were all certifiable and became psychologists to deal with theis issues.
95% of the “psychologists” I know are themselves nuts.
I’ve got a neighbor who is a “psychotherapist.” She walks her cats on leashes, and her house looks like a crack den. Another I know is on his 4th marriage. Yet another I know is child-psychotherapist, but every child I know is terrified of him. I have more examples too.
Sorry if I offend, but my own research indicates this.
Psychiatry of the obsolete Freudian sort embraced that concept. Though some psychologists might subject themselves to psychoanalysis, I’ve never understood it to be a requirement. Note that, as reported which might not be true, Ford was seeing a psychiatrist when she “recovered” the assault memory. Psychiatrists, unlike psychologists, are MD’s and can write prescriptions...
Not if they are doing statistics....essentially research
If they are doing clinical work then yes
Her alleged “PTSD” would certainly have come to light, and it’s cause explored. Anndddd...... she certainly should have worked with her therapist to deal with it.
She clearly still has issues that need work.
I review medical records for a living. (Underwriter) I’ve seen more than just a few psychologists and psychiatrists see fellow peers for counseling.
So yes, they do. Doctors are still human, with all the frailties of body and mind of being human.
Certain areas have to go through psycho-analysis, but it isn’t a qualifier. It is more of a demonstration. The result of the analysis has no real bearing on their certification.
During testimony, the accuser was allowed to essentially diagnose herself. This would be laughed out of a real court in seconds.
No, psychoanalysis is not a requirement for most psychologists.
Her Education Psychology Ph.D is not likely to have had a therapy requirement. Her Clinical Psychology MA might have.
Prosecute the perpetrators.
Obstruction of justice and perjury. Sedition? Repent!
Most people get into Psy because they want to understand their problems.
Many never find a solution.
This is why many get into HR as it doesn’t require them to help anyone, just protect the company and make lots of $$$.
I agree with your father...I’ve never known a psychologist who didn’t act a little goofy.
