I think Republicans everywhere are having a collective sigh of relief over the Amnesty bill being shelved. But it will only be shelved for a short period of time if Reid, Kennedy and some select Republicans have their way. I personally think it might have ended the Republican party because the party faithful was enraged and feeling extremely betrayed. Even so, the vote was extremely and astoundingly close.
