Hollywood and the mainstream media have been portraying the Tea Party movement as racist and violent ever since it rose up during the early months of President Barack Obama's first term. Never mind that the Occupy Wall Street movement set the standard for ideologically driven violence, and that whenever Tea Partiers gather they typically leave the grounds cleaner than when they arrived.
