<p>A former Philadelphia police officer once hailed as a hero who sat next to the first lady during the 2009 State of the Union address was indicted yesterday after being accused of forcing two women to take heroin at gunpoint before raping them.</p>

Attorney Alan Dershowitz on Monday struck back at Robert Redford and other liberals for their seeming devotion to violent, homegrown activists.
