Members of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, students and bereaved families dedicated a monument on Monday in memory of nine students and staff killed in a bomb attack a year ago at the Mount Scopus campus. The 'live' sculpture created by Ran Morin and called the "Tilted Tree," consists of a tree planted at an angle to appear as though its life has been disrupted, though not halted by the attack last July 31 at the Frank Sinatra Student Center.
