MIAMI — The search for a 66-year-old woman who fell from a Taylor Swift-themed cruise on Tuesday night has been suspended, the U.S. Coast Guard has announced. According to the USCG, the woman traveling on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas ship that left from Miami Monday went overboard the next night just before 10 p.m. At the time, the ship was about 17 miles north of Nassau, Bahamas.

Be like Taylor Swift. Cultivate friendships with people outside of your ideological circle — and keep them. Last week she wrote self-professed Swiftie Dave Portnoy a thank-you note for always having her back. And it was hand-delivered by her brother to the Barstool Sports honcho at her Miami concert. Nice gesture, right? Nope. As with anything in the Swift universe, it’s caused an earthquake: spawning think pieces, social media reactions and tons of coverage.

More Idahoans under the age of 30 have registered to vote in the past month than any other age group, according to the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office. Between Sept. 3 and Oct. 3, 2024, over 25,000 people registered to vote, with 38%, or 9,400 people, between ages 18-29. This continues a trend observed in recent months. When Biden announced his withdrawal July 21, within two days, 1,200 Idahoans had registered, and 518 were under age 30. ...after Taylor Swift endorsed Harris on Sept. 10, 3,440 Idahoans registered within two days. Many of these new voters, or 45% of them,...

Taylor Swift has been at the top of the pop music charts for over 15 years. That's an eternity in show business. It's no accident. Swift's rise to superstardom was as carefully planned as a military campaign. Her studio recordings, her songwriting, her tours, her public appearances, and her advocacy have all been carefully structured to give her maximum exposure with minimum risk. Until she endorsed Kamala Harris for president. Swift transcended pop music to become an American icon. Her Harris endorsement has now squandered that precious admiration and goodwill and, for the first time in her hugely successful career,...

My brother Nicholas Spyridon Kass has made foreign policy his life’s work, knowing that the world is a dangerous place and many out there hate us, and want us dead, or as their slaves. Or perhaps they dream of using us as their jesters, to kneel near their feast tables, so they can clean the grease from their fingers on our hair. Part of that work involved knowing and appreciating how American elected officials think about the world, and how they learn about the dangers for our county, how they process the information. Do they try to think independently? Or...

''The reason she's voting for Kamala Harris is because of Tim Walz's LGBTQ stance,'' Kelly began, referencing Minnesota state legislation passed in April 2024 requiring health plans to provide coverage for physical or mental health services for gender-affirming care. The bill also requires that health plans consider gender-affirming care as medically necessary as long as it meets professional standards, guidelines, or medical practices. ''A little girl is going to find herself down a rabbit hole on Reddit," Kelly predicted. "Reddit is going to tell her that she's actually a boy, and she's going to get sucked into this gender cult.''...

NFL analysts and fans are adamant Travis Kelce is hurtling towards retirement after his latest performance continued the worst form of his NFL career. Kelce played a peripheral role again on Sunday night as the Kansas City Chiefs extended their perfect start to the season to 3-0 with a 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The 34-year-old, whose girlfriend Taylor Swift missed a game for the first time this season, was caught by TV cameras looking particularly miserable on the sideline in a clip which went viral.

In the wake of yet another foiled ISIS-inspired terrorist plot, this one by a Canada-based Pakistani seeking to kill Jews in New York on the anniversary of last year’s Hamas attack in Israel, everyone is loudly proclaiming: “ISIS is back.”And yet, this analysis is wrong. For someone or something to “be back,” it has to have left in the first place. This return can be surprising or expected, but in the end it is of note. With respect to the ISIS terrorist group, it has not “resurged” because it never went away in the first place. The group has been around since...

Brittany Mahomes is 'deeply bothered' by Donald Trump's very public attack on her close friend Taylor Swift, according to sources who claim the Kansas City Chiefs WAG is questioning her support for the former president. Brittany, who has been married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a post about Trump, 78, on social media. Weeks later, Taylor, 34, publicly endorsed Kamala Harris' bid for president - an action that drove a reported 338,000 visits to the federal voter registration website after she shared a link on Instagram. Trump hit back...

Taylor Swift is a phenomenon I’m too old to understand. She went from being a country singer who wrote songs about her bad choices in men to being a pop singer who wrote songs about her bad choices in men. Her fans, however, are fanatic in a way that says less about Swift and more about what happens when people are deprived of a true object of worship (i.e., God) or worthy subjects of admiration (e.g., Cincinnatus, George Washington, Mother Theresa, etc.).But, still, she’s a phenomenon, so conservatives worried when she endorsed Harris—and Democrats attacked anyone who dared challenge Swift....

Your host back with you again it's good to be moving forward a mature adult in the room with you more grown up. "Puff the Magic Dragon" the little boy leaves childhood fantasy... I got the newsgathering instinct back then would write down what I heard and take it to school to tell others at the lunch table about what I heard from the other places. And here I am your host... Obsession with politics leads to other kinds of obsession frankly... I was one within 24 inches of Taylor Swift early in her career she was working the autograph...

It might not be such a “Love Story” after all. Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, may turn more voters away than it attracts. A new post-debate poll from YouGov released Saturday found that 8% of voters said the pop superstar’s nod is either “somewhat” or “much more likely” to convince them to cast their ballot for the Democrat. But a whopping 20% said they are “somewhat” or “much less likely” to vote for former President Donald Trump’s opponent now that Swift has spoken. Advertisement

The global superstar’s coveted endorsement of the Democratic presidential candidate might not change how Americans vote on Nov 5, but the Taylor Swift effect is already showing in voter registration, says S Rajaratnam School of International Studies’ Kevin Chen.It was rumoured for months, but it still took most people by surprise. Mere minutes after the fiery debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump ended on Sep 10, mega pop star Taylor Swift announced that her vote in the Nov 5 United States presidential election was going to Harris. Swift’s endorsement is a pleasant surprise for the...

After Swift confirmed on Tuesday night that she is voting for Harris over Donald Trump in this year's Presidential election, Kelce is poised to announce that he will be doing the same come November. An insider claimed the Kansas City Chiefs superstar is proud of his girlfriend for throwing her support behind Harris and 'understood the assignment' after she did so. ‘Travis will definitely be endorsing Kamala and will be doing it...

U.S. — A singer who has made her entire career out of writing songs detailing her horrifically bad choices has announced her choice for President: Kamala Harris. Pop icon Taylor Swift, who has written a veritable library of songs about her being a poor judge of character, made the announcement last night. "I know I'm internationally renowned for regretting every major decision in my life, but this choice will turn out different, I just know it," said Swift. "She's the one!" A longtime Democrat, Swift's songwriting is known for chronicling how each man she thought would be the one turned...

After going months on end without jumping into the political fray – Caitlin Clark endorsed the “childless cat lady.” Look for the legacy media to suddenly discover a new-found love for Caitlin. We will see how this plays out with her fans. Just this week Angel Reese and the WNBA brass were labeling Caitlin Clark fans as “racist.” Now what will they do? Don’t expect this website to be posting much more on Caitlin Clark’s career for awhile. The country’s at stake and she just endorsed tyranny.

First, you read that right. After a weird pressure campaign, Taylor Swift posted this on Instagram announcing her support for Kamala Harris last night: That text seems a little small, so let’s blow it up a bit: Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this...

Well, it appears the WNBA and Indiana Fever star was a fan of the post from Swift because she liked it on Instagram. You can see a screenshot of Clark's like below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com. Now, some people might want to read into this and make it a huge deal. It shouldn't be. Clark is free to support any politician or like any social media post that she wants. Will this now being very public stir some controversy? Sure, but it shouldn't. Caitlin Clark isn't parading around cheering for Kamala Harris to be President. She...

Taylor Swift, one of America’s most celebrated pop-culture icons with a giant following across the world, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the immediate aftermath of the presidential debate on Tuesday. The endorsement by Ms. Swift, delivered mere minutes after Ms. Harris and former President Donald J. Trump stepped off the debate stage in Philadelphia... “Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” Ms. Swift wrote on Instagram to her 283 million followers. “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.
