Hating someone for their political preference is self-defeating — and Taylor Swift proves it

Be like Taylor Swift. Cultivate friendships with people outside of your ideological circle — and keep them.

Last week she wrote self-professed Swiftie Dave Portnoy a thank-you note for always having her back. And it was hand-delivered by her brother to the Barstool Sports honcho at her Miami concert.

Nice gesture, right?

Nope. As with anything in the Swift universe, it’s caused an earthquake: spawning think pieces, social media reactions and tons of coverage.

It has been reported that Swift lost a lot of followers after endorsing Kamala. She fears that her politics has sent her career into decline. I agree. She has entered the fat Elvis phase of her career. In a few years she will be like Delta Dawn wandering the streets looking for a dark haired man.

Frankly she is talentless niche singer that that could not make a career in Country music so jumped to Pop as frankly the Pop fan base doesn’t know good music if their life depended on it. Add this also that a late 30 something woman will find singing songs about bad breakups that were written for early 20’s singers won’t fly for long either.

Yes, definitely on the downward side of her career. Years ago, I felt sorry for her when Kanye jumped up on stage when she was receiving an award. After all of this business with Kelce - cutting to show her reactions at football games - I am over her.

You can be a star, yes a star overnight
Be the center of attraction, in the main spotlight
But just when you get there, the lights’ll go out on you
And the very next day, they’ll be asking, “Who are you?”

It’s a poor man who lives on his former glory
With only pride to back up an empty story
So when the time has come for us to go
Let’s throw away pride and admit we know

When the fall comes, oh please let it be slow
Don’t let us come down, come down before we even know
Sliding so fast, we can’t even stop
We still have a chance if we go down slow

Lighting man, when you bring the lights down
Can you take them down real easy
Lighting man, can you hear me up there
Please bring those lights down easy
- “Lighting Man,” Godiego

It’s a shame. I thought she was smarter than that.

I chuckled when the sports reporter lady on Gutfeld last night said she deleted all her swifty tunes from her phone. Taylor should have listened to Michael Jordan.

Well I guess there’s only one thing left for poor Taylor to do: write another really sad song about a romantic relationship that just didn’t work out. Que up Nazareth “Love Hurts”.

I’m fortunate that the liberals in my family have not disowned me for my Trump support. It’s sad that many families have been torn a part. The Soros paid propaganda machine is responsible for demonizing MAGA. The left are indeed the enemy from within.

Maybe she could play at one of Comrade Kamala’s collapsing concerts. That should bolster her spiraling outlook.

It would be smart of Swift to add “Proud to be American” to her show. That would be fun.

Voting for Kamala because you don’t like Trump is like shooting yourself in the foot because you don’t like your shoes.

It wasn't just her endorsement of Heels Up.

From 2023...

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sitting in KC, V-A-C-C-I-N-A-T-I-N-G

Then there's Freebiegate in the UK to do with high profile Labourites who got free tickets to her concerts, the scandal with her Met Police escort.

Swift is a Deep State handmaiden.

I like the way she’s a teen idol but she’s like 40-something.

Dear Kelce...I’m starting to write a song about you. You pay more attention to football than me. I’m so sad when you’re away. Maybe quit football...if you truly love me. I guess you don’t...so the song begins...

Well she couldn’t cut it in CW markets so they had to rebrand her.

I hope so. She’s a vacuous twit. Ready to be done hearing her name.

Madonna got away with being an aging teen idol too until Lady Ga Ga imitated her and stole her audience.
