TRENTON, NJ – Last week, in light of the leak of a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to turn abortion rights over to the states, Governor Phil Murphy doubled down on his commitment to keeping abortions legal in New Jersey. Murphy’s administration issued a swift statement to combat the federal court’s decision. “With the U.S. Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Fictional 21st Century Woman at her “reveal” party: Mom, Dad, Family, Friends, there’s something inside me! Lol, no, it’s not a tumor. It’s a human. It’s got boy DNA (so, not me. lol). This is the first instance of taxpayer funded abortions under Obama’s health care program and it has pro-life activists enraged. LifeNews is reporting that under the program any abortion that is legal in Pennsylvania will be covered. Douglas Johnson from National Rights to Life commented that “President Obama successfully opposed including language in the bill to prevent federal subsidies for abortions, and now the Administration is quietly advancing its abortion-expanding agenda through...

Jefferson City, MO (LifeNews.com) -- A federal appeals court ruled on Thursday that Missouri correctional facilities must take pregnant prisoners for elective abortions at taxpayer expense. The ruling comes despite state law prohibiting the state from paying for abortions with public funds. The state appealed a judge's decision last year forcing it to transport pregnant prisoners to get abortions. But, Tuesday, a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the lower court's decision. There is no word yet on whether the state will appeal the decision to the full appellate court or the Supreme Court....
