Law and Order Actors Push Abortion in Planned Parenthood Video
Washington, DC -- Four actors form the acclaimed television series Law and Order: Criminal Intent have recorded a new video endorsing the nation's largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood. They specifically endorse its efforts to force Americans to pay for abortions in a government-run health care plan.

Can anyone explain to me why we must abort low income children so that we can permit low income children to immigrate to America?
i remember that show.
vaguely remember, I’m sure
Oh no not Detective Eames..I liked her..Sucks, just another actor I won’t be looking at the same again
Law and Order sucks anyway...they have the most liberal minded agenda woven into their shows the way it is. If I watch it, it will be with Fre Thompson and Jill Hennesy re-run. Oh well.
bummer - I liked that show... despite D’Onofrio being a bit of a tool in real life. Another reason to turn off NBC.
I will never watch LAW AND ORDER anymore not even the reruns.
Proud to say I've never watched it.
You want acclaimed TV? Watch I Love Lucy.
I recently had the very unpleasant experience of discussing tax dollars for abortions with a woman who considers herself to be a conservative; she told me that it would be cheaper to abort them, than to have them on the dole and in prison.
While I am normally prepared to engage in a pro-life discussion, I have to admit that I was dumbfounded by this Republican.
I have had more than one person tell me I look a lot like that guy. I didn't know who he was, so I looked up some pictures on Google, and, sure enough, I do (at least when he's got some facial hair). Too bad he's pro-abort.
and 24!
Um, I think I love you!! Best of all worlds, you look like D’Onofrio and you don’t believe in abortion. (swoon)
Better you than me. I’m not violent, but I’d have wanted to hit her

Why the drop after 1960? (in deaths of women from illegal abortions)

The reasons were new and better antibiotics, better surgery and the establishment of intensive care units in hospitals. This was in the face of a rising population. Between 1967 and 1970 sixteen states legalized abortion. In most it was limited, only for rape, incest and severe fetal handicap (life of mother was legal in all states). There were two big exceptions California in 1967, and New York in 1970 allowed abortion on demand. Now look at the chart carefully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Abortion Statistics - Decision to Have an Abortion (U.S.)
· 25.5% of women deciding to have an abortion want to postpone childbearing
· 21.3% of women cannot afford a baby
· 14.1% of women have a relationship issue or their partner does not want a child
· 12.2% of women are too young (their parents or others object to the pregnancy)
· 10.8% of women feel a child will disrupt their education or career
· 7.9% of women want no (more) children
· 3.3% of women have an abortion due to a risk to fetal health
2.8% of women have an abortion due to a risk to maternal health
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So how many womens lives have been saved by abortion?
Less than 3% of abortions since 1972 were reported to be due to a risk to maternal health. A reasonable person would recognize that not all of those cases represent a lethal risk. But lets say they did. That means that nearly 45 million fetuses were butchered to save the lives of about 1.3 million women. Or put another way; 35 babies are killed to save each woman.
Abortion was legal in all 50 states prior to Roe v. Wade in cases of danger to the life of the woman.

I love the show, and Goren and Eames are great characters. (for those of you who don’t know, Goren was also the bug in Men in Black and Eames the daughter in What About Bob?).
However, I’ve noticed the writing has been getting more and more radical. There have been numerous anti Bush mentions, an episode parodying Rush and drug abuse, anti Gitmo stuff, etc. It was irritating and taking down my enjoyment of the show. I stopped watching a couple of years ago.
Three things stop me from watching a show. One is in your face brutality, two is ribald humor, and the third is being preached at by libs.
No, that wasn't written about the United States (though it should be). It's a quote from a recent article about South Korea. Actually, it would apply to more than half of the nations in the world, including (but not limited to) Europe, North America, and the Asian Pacific Rim, all of which have suicidally low birthrates.
Our society needs children for healthy social development, and will never solve any of the problems which beset us, by killing our young.
I'd like to tell this heartless "conservative" specimen that you encountered, that the alternatives aren't
There's another alternative: treasuring children and maximizing each one's potential to grow up, marry, form families, and be sound, happy, and productive adult.
All that is primarily a spiritual quest: because a spiritually well-grounded person can fight they way through adversities and make a better future for themselves and the people around them.
Being well-grounded spiritually is mostly a matter of faith and family, which are private concerns: not an arena of state intervention.
But this supposedly conservative woman should look to her own spiritual deformity, exemplified by her willingness to tolerate the murder of children.
I'm with you, incredulous joe. I'm dumbfounded by people like this.
“There’s another alternative: treasuring children and maximizing each one’s potential to grow up, marry, form families, and be sound, happy, and productive adult.”
Yes, the alternative to abortion is untold potential, even in the case of rape; an act that is base and evil can be transformed into something positive and beautiful.
I do consider her to be “conservative” with parenthesis. Pro-abort disqualifies anyone, in my mind, of having “real conservative” credibility.
“I’m with you, incredulous joe. I’m dumbfounded by people like this.”
I was speechless, though maybe not so dumbfounded by the statement. There was a thinly veiled reference of racial bigotry in her argument; that “they” would become criminals and that “they” would be on welfare.
There is the certain acknowledgment of inclusion in such a reference. Such a person thinks that you and they are of like mind when they throw this “they” out there into the discussion.
Essentially, these kind of “conservatives” are exactly the type of race-baiting images of conservatism that liberals would choose to illustrate our ideology, and ironically, these “conservatives” fall into the liberal camp in that their view is secular, racist, pro-life and evil.
I feel badly coming away from such discussions, at opportunities when I have run into a new angle or perspective of pro-aborts and not been prepared to deal with the situation immediately.
I should not feel badly because I do not understand the mindset of these people, who would give excuses to those who would kill babies. I should be thankful that my mind is not as warped and perverted as their own.
I will redouble my effort to prepare for such an odd and polluted way of thinking and I will pray that I have the energy, wisdom and patience to inform and correct their twisted and tortured logic.
T-Eye.
Good and useful information, my friend.
Putting the discussion into perspective.
And the “red herring” of “instances of rape” in their proper place.
Thank you, Joe. My post doesn’t always relate directly to the thread article but I hope that it will always be food for thought. Ultimately the sheer weight of the truth will crush the false premises used to support aborting babies.
