Khaled Mashal, a leader of the Hamas terrorist organization, claimed in an interview translated by MEMRI TV that Russia intends to use the brutal October 7 attack against Israel as teaching material in its military academies. “We want the Arab communities in the West to be active and cooperate with superpowers like China and Russia," Mashal said in the interview. "For your information, Russia has benefited from our attack, because we distracted the US from them and from Ukraine. “China saw our attack as a dazzling example," he continued. "The Russians told us that what happened on October 7 would...

A partner at a Chinese semiconductor investment fund has welcomed the U.S. government’s ban of certain advanced chip types to be exported to China, describing the move as “great news” which may stimulate a domestic ecosystem. Chloe Wang, a partner and vice-president at the Guangzhou-headquartered Yang Cheng Fund, said: “We received the very great news this morning, and I didn’t feel surprised about the U.S. [which] continued to ban the H100 and 800 exports to China,” Wang told CNBC’s East Tech West conference in the Nansha district of Guangzhou, China, on Wednesday. The U.S. Department of Commerce is set to...

When Richard Nixon entered the White House in January 1969, he inherited a war in Southeast Asia, multiple foreign crises, and domestic political turmoil in the form of race riots and antiwar protests. China was in the midst of the brutal and disastrous Cultural Revolution. Soviet Russia had recently invaded and crushed a rebellion in Czechoslovakia. China and Russia were supplying our enemies in Indochina. In the Middle East, another war was brewing that would breakout in Nixon’s second term. Nixon dealt with these matters but never took his eye off the geopolitical prize — the political pluralism of the...

Hamas’s unprecedented invasion of Israel would in “no way” have transpired under the presidency of Donald Trump, according to world-renowned military historian and professor Dr. Victor Davis Hanson, who also argued that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine and China would not have sent spy balloons over the U.S., as he urged America to take back its international standing. Speaking on former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia John Anderson’s “Conversations” podcast Wednesday, Dr. Hanson suggested that “to his credit,” former President Donald Trump demonstrated American deterrence and determination through his assassination of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani and destruction of...

Why can't the Pentagon get weapons firms to ramp up production? A new report shows the military doesn't track who owns its contractors, and has just two people looking at mergers in the defense base One of the more important side stories to the recent wars in Ukraine and Israel, and competition with China over Taiwan, is that the U.S. defense industrial base, composed of 200k plus corporations, is being forced to actually build weapons again. Defense is big business, and since the end of the Cold War, the government has allowed Wall Street to determine who owns, builds, and...

The Pentagon disclosed that Chinese fighters have conducted more dangerous intercepts of American military aircraft in the last two years than that of the past decade. This is because China knows we are led by a very weak and compromised president who will do nothing to stop them. These incidents are a tool to show the world China can do what it wants to the United States and there isn't a damn thing we will do about it. China and Russia have sent fighters dangerously close to our aircraft during every presidential administration. One Chinese fighter even collided with an...

President Biden is weighing a wide-ranging supplemental funding request for roughly $100 billion that would include funding for Israel and Ukraine, according to people familiar with the matter. The sweeping measure would also include funding for border security and assistance to countries in the Indo-Pacific region, including Taiwan, the people said. Biden administration officials said the package, which would include funding for the full fiscal year, hasn’t yet been finalized. The administration is expected to send the package to Congress in the coming days. Bloomberg earlier reported the $100 billion funding figure.

The IDF said several launches from Syria into Israeli territory were identified. The IDF said that “part of the launches crossed into Israeli territory and presumably fell in an open area.” Israel responded with artillery fire. Meanwhile, near Gaza, IDF soldiers killed two terrorists in the area of Kibbutz Re'im and killed another two terrorists in the area of Kibbutz Mefalsim. In Lebanon, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile toward a military vehicle near Avivim. The conflict that Israel has prepared for appears to be emerging. It is increasingly clear that a large number of incidents are coming together. This includes...

It cannot exist in a world where individual freedom, free enterprise, and human rights are respected. Know your enemy is the first principle of an intelligence professional and is the foundation of all strategy. Knowing your enemy requires not just tracking of military movements, which is essential, but first and foremost demands the grasping of the ideological motivations of its actions. Accordingly, the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) aggression against the Philippines at Second Thomas Shoal, what is indisputability Filipino territory; against India on the shared border; against Japan in the East China Sea, or the raw exploitation of people...

Russia is mobilizing for a long war in Ukraine. The West … isn’t. To preserve Ukraine’s independence and deter further Russian aggression, that must change. Ukraine’s allies must do more, faster – and brace for a conflict that could grind on for years. But they might already be losing their nerve. The authoritarian regime of Russian president Vladimir Putin was overconfident in the months leading up to its February 2022 wider invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin talked about a two-week “special military operation” that would “demilitarize” Ukraine by destroying its armed forces and toppling its elected government. The two-week war became a two-year...

Far from an idealistic crusade for democracy, America’s interest in Taiwan involves economic security, alliances, great power politics, and military deterrence. This month, Chinese military flights near Taiwan reached an all-time high. In a single day in September, aircraft from the People’s Liberation Army crossed into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone more than 100 times. As China’s campaign of military intimidation toward the self-governing island reaches new heights, it’s important to remember why U.S. support for the island nation is more vital than ever.Deterring China from launching an invasion of Taiwan and dominating the world’s largest market zone is a vital...

KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Taiwan unveiled its first domestically developed submarine on Thursday, a major step in a project aimed at strengthening the island's defence and deterrence against the Chinese navy, though it won't enter service for another two years. Taiwan, which China claims as its own territory, has made the indigenous submarine programme a key part of an ambitious project to modernise its armed forces as Beijing stages almost daily military exercises to assert its sovereignty.

The benign interpretation of the ground force movements in Fujian province is that #China is practicing for an invasion. The other explanation is that China is going to war now. We should be getting ready too because #Chinese doctrine is to hit #Japan and us preemptively.

Former Vice President Mike Pence warned this week that if Russian forces are not repelled in Ukraine, U.S. military service members may have to step up to the fight. "I’m convinced that if the Ukrainian military doesn’t stop and repel that Russian invasion, it’s not going to be too long before that Russian army crosses a border that our men and women in uniform are going to have to go and fight under our NATO Treaty," Mr. Pence said during a town hall-style interview with NewsNation on Wednesday. "I truly believe it. Whether that's Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, ... Poland, I...

India’s military is considering—with urgency and at the highest-levels— what support it could and would provide the US and its allies in a war with China over Taiwan. The “options” that the military identifies will reportedly soon be placed before India’s far-right, Narendra Modi-led government and, no doubt in some form, subsequently communicated to the White House and the Pentagon. Multiple news reports dating back to the beginning of last month say the ongoing examination of how India’s three armed services—army, navy and air force—might assist US imperialism in waging war on China was ordered by India’s Chief of Defence...

The Russia/China alliance was somehow not anticipated by all our three letter intelligentsia. As such every major agency is obsessed with how to break up this strategic alliance so as to weaken the ‘enemy’. When obliterating western economies, this alternate alliance has the power to supersede the efforts and gain a resilient traction. The players are deeply concerned this alliance will upend the western colonization of Africa. Billions of dollars have been invested into Africa’s infrastructure to support the land grab farms. The money comes from the Green Fund that does nothing green. Unfortunately our western three letters don’t have...

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense in a Wednesday social media post stated that a total of 35 PLA...

* US President Joe Biden said China's economic problems could keep Beijing from invading Taiwan. * Biden said Chinese President Xi Jinping has his "hands full" with China's economic issues. * Beijing claims self-ruled Taiwan as its territory and has been stepping up military drills around the island. China's probably too busy with its economic crisis to bother about invading Taiwan, US President Joe Biden said on Sunday. China's "difficult economic problem" currently is unlikely to cause the country to invade Taiwan, Biden said at a press conference during his state visit to Hanoi in Vietnam, according to a recording...

NEW DELHI: Invites sent by Indian President Droupadi Murmu calling herself "President of Bharat" for a dinner on the sidelines of the G20 summit have stirred speculation that the government may be about to change the country's name. WHAT IS THE CONTROVERSY ABOUT INDIA'S NAME? By convention, invitations issued by Indian constitutional bodies have always mentioned the name India when the text is in English, and the name Bharat when the text is in Hindi. However, the invites - in English - for the G20 dinner called Murmu the President of Bharat. An official at the president's office said they...
