By mutual agreement, the University of Louisville is withdrawing the contract of sociology lecturer John McTighe for the spring semester pending completion of a review of a student's allegations concerning comments made following the Nov. 2 presidential election. The university is continuing to review an incident in which a student alleges McTighe made comments to his class that could be interpreted to advocate gun violence against "religious zealots."
