Here we are a week after the 2020 election, and virtually every day that passes yields evidence of potential new incidents of voter fraud; not by sinister actors from a foreign power, but by fellow Americans. Remarkably, those same mainstream media personalities, and those same establishment bigwigs, seem not to have the slightest interest in even broaching the issue. And if they do happen to mention voter fraud, it’s brought up not as a serious matter, but only as an example of President Trump being a sore loser. Americans, especially young, left-leaning Americans don’t have much of a conception of the reality of socialism. They have some idea that it means the government taxing the wealthy and providing “free” (read: taxpayer-funded) services to those that are left fortunate. That is completely wrong. In fact, it’s a semi-rosy view of how the Nordic welfare systems work, and those aren’t even socialist systems in the first place. Plus, they tax everyone quite heavily, not just the upper class; the average tax in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark is between 40% and 60%, but it is a more or less flat tax....

Americans can’t just know who the Founding Fathers were and some of the good things they did. We can’t just know about Washington crossing the Delaware, Jefferson buying Louisiana and writing the Declaration, Madison writing the Constitution, and Madison and Hamilton writing most of The Federalist Papers. Yes, those achievements were significant and were some of the most important parts of the bedrock of Western Civilization. But just knowing that is not enough. We also have to stand up and defend the Founding Fathers from the attacks launched against them.
