Yoder for U.S. House, 3rd District Republican Kevin Yoder, who is leaving the Kansas House, is quick-witted and thoughtful, giving him the edge to take over the seat being vacated by longtime congressman Dennis Moore, a Democrat. -
Video: Democrat Fumbles Key Health Care Question
Stephene Moore, a Democrat running from Kansas’ 3rd Congressional district to fill a seat her husband Rep. Dennis Moore is stepping down from, supports the health care bill and says repealing it will add to the deficit. During a debate on Wednesday, Moore said that repealing the health care bill would add $1.3 billion to the deficit. Problem with this is her prediction is a figure that is more than double that of the Congressional Budget Office’s estimate of $455 billion. The local ABC affiliate spoke to her after. This was her reaction.
