Stephene Moore, a Democrat running from Kansas’ 3rd Congressional district to fill a seat her husband Rep. Dennis Moore is stepping down from, supports the health care bill and says repealing it will add to the deficit.
During a debate on Wednesday, Moore said that repealing the health care bill would add $1.3 billion to the deficit. Problem with this is her prediction is a figure that is more than double that of the Congressional Budget Office’s estimate of $455 billion. The local ABC affiliate spoke to her after. This was her reaction.

She and candidate Blumenthal(D) (How are jobs created?) remind me of that rambling, incoherent answer given by a Miss Teen USA a few years ago. “I personally believe that U.S. Americans... such that.. some people don’t have maps... and therefore... places like South Africa... and Iraq... and such.”

Actually, the poster at Eyeblast, Joe Schoffstall, made an error. The reporter actually asks her about “one point three TRILLION...”
Makes a difference. And makes her consequent befuddlement an even more profound indictment.
Speaking as a professional advertising strategist of long standing, I must express great admiration for the folks who have crafted Christine’s new commercials. They effectively encourage the viewer to bond with the candidate, and to empathize with her on a very personal level.
Those who contributed to her campaign should be pleased with the wisdom of their investment.
