A Kentucky state representative committed suicide Wednesday, two days after allegations he sexually assaulted a teenage girl were made public. According to Sheriff Donnie Tinnell of Bullitt County, Republican Rep. Dan Johnson killed himself on a bridge in Mount Washington, Kentucky. The coroner said he “died of a single gunshot wound” and determined it was “a probable suicide.”Police were alerted after Johnson posted a suicide note on Facebook.
