The police officer who shot unarmed, white Australian woman Justine Damond has been identified. Police sources have named the shooter as Officer Mohamed Noor, according to Kare 11. The officer started on the force in 2015 and, at the time of the shooting, had two outstanding complaints against him, Kare 11’s Lou Raguse tweeted.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — WCCO has just learned the name of the Minneapolis officer involved in the shooting as Mohammed Noor. His attorney Tom Plunkett confirmed Noor fired his weapon, killing Justine Damond.

The Department of Homeland Security is urging shopping malls in the United States to increase security in the aftermath of the carnage wrought by al Qaeda’s Somalia affiliate over the weekend in Nairobi. Another one of the Somali youths who vanished from the Twin Cities last fall has apparently met his death in his homeland. Burhan Hassan, a studious teenager from Minneapolis, died in Mogadishu and was buried there, an uncle said Saturday evening. "We received a call from those people in Mogadishu. Somaliland authorities arrested 11 Somali-Americans in connection to the smuggling of anti-aircraft weapons.
