<p>A woman grabbed her son's Louisville Slugger baseball bat and fatally beat a naked intruder who was attacking her 56-year-old sister, St. Louis homicide detectives said Sunday.</p> <p>"He tackled me around the knees, and I was screaming," said Gwen Herndon, in recalling the encounter with the man in her living room. She said her attacker was wearing only socks and had forced his way into her home. "I asked him, 'Who are you and what do you want?' "The only thing he said was, 'I'm dead. I'm dead.'"</p>
