Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the Trump administration was showing it did “not care about the rule of law.” Partial transcript as follows: FORMER RNC CHAIR REINCE PRIEBUS: They’ve got no — well, he said they’ve got no message. They’ve got no movement. They’ve got no leader. I mean, it doesn’t get any worse than that. I mean, you’re defending Harvard. You’re traveling to El Salvador for MS-13 gang members. But here’s the point. KARL: Alleged. PRIEBUS: You’re taking $20 million, if I’m looking at someone, my vice chair, the RNC...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Monday lauded her fellow Democrats for “showing up” while Republicans are “hiding” from the American people, referring to the GOP’s avoidance of in-person town halls. Warren, in an interview with MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez, weighed in on the large numbers of rally goers attending fellow Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) gatherings across the country, intended to combat the Trump administration’s sweeping efforts to overhaul the federal workforce. “Democrats are actually showing up to listen to people, to rally with people, while Republicans are hiding and being told by their leadership, don’t go out in public, don’t have...

Critics on social media dragged President Biden over video footage showing what appeared to be a small showing of supporters greeting the president’s motorcade in the deep blue city of Atlanta, where he held a fundraising event and delivered Morehouse College’s commencement speech. “Crooked Joe Biden – dazed and confused, as usual – shuffles down the short stairs in Atlanta ahead of his day of pandering. He ignores questions,” RNC research posted Saturday as Biden landed in the city. “If a presidential motorcade passes through town but absolutely nobody cares – did it really pass through town?” RNC Research asked...

Two girls who took part in Monday night's riots in Croydon have boasted that they were showing police and "the rich" that "we can do what we want". Swells of calorie-rich planktonic krill have attracted more giant blue whales off the Palos Verdes Peninsula than local whale watchers can ever remember. Since last week, onlookers have been treated to a virtual whale playground. As many as 25 giants at once have been spotted from shore in recent days. This is extraordinary, considering that only 2,000 blue whales have been documented in the north Pacific Ocean. The blue whales' massive smooth backs, geyseral blows, and spade-like flukes have rushed the heartbeats of those who have witnessed the largest mammals ever known to A blue whale surfaces and exhales. (Scott...

DALLAS, June 28, 2007 – When it comes to showing support for America’s troops, Missouri is living up to its nickname as the “Show Me State” by sending nearly 4,000 base and post exchange gift certificates to soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines. So far this year, supporters from 45 states and the District of Columbia have contributed to the Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s “Gifts From the Homefront” program, with Missouri far and away the most generous, sending an average of 778 military exchange gift certificates a month. Missouri is home to Whiteman Air Force Base and the Army’s...

Yes, the election is behind us, but it is not yet time to heal the wounds. We cannot let the Democrats forget the vitriol they spewed during the campaign. Their ugly tactics are part of history. Forget history and we repeat our mistakes. Remember Bob Woodward’s charge that President Bush and the Saudis had a secret “deal” to keep oil prices low in the run-up to the 2004 presidential election? (See also here). There is no documentation showing that such a deal was ever made. Historical oil and gas prices in 2004 provide empirical evidence that no such deal was...

Tonight's Grammy awards could turn into one long anti-war protest, judging by the parties leading up to the event. "Tell Mr. President we don't want war," Wyclef Jean told a cheering crowd during a rendition of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry," at Friday's "Tinseltown to Gotham" party at Cipriani 42nd Street. Asked why American soldiers shouldn't oust Saddam, since they rid Wyclef's Haitian homeland of "Baby Doc" Duvalier, the singer told us: "The United States and Haiti always had a relationship." At the pre-Grammy bash thrown by designer Nicole Miller, Faith Evans boldly declared, "War is the pits. I...
