President Barack Obama is proposing a new investment into research to map the human brain in hopes of unlocking some of its mysteries, a senior administration official says. The president planned to propose a $100 million investment for next year during remarks Tuesday morning, the White House said. Judge Brian Hughes put out the $75,000 bench warrant for Carolee Bildsten, 56, who did not appear for a hearing Thursday on an aggravated assault charge. Bildsten is accused of confronting an officer in November with a "clear, rigid feminine pleasure device," according to a police report.
