A Georgia sheepdog is recovering from injuries after squaring off against a pack of coyotes, killing eight of them, while protecting his herd. Casper, a sheepdog who works on John Wierwiller’s Georgia farm, fought off more than half a dozen coyotes in a fight that lasted over half an hour, WAGA-TV reported. Wierwiller says that Casper disappeared for two days after the brutal fight. “We knew he was hurt because we found parts of his tail and blood and other things, so we were worried,” Wierwiller said.

A state trooper from Georgia refused to kneel during a Black Lives Matter protest in Georgia, telling demonstrators he does that only for God. Video footage has emerged of O'Neal Saddler, who cancelled his plans to help keep protesters safe, at the rally in Hartwell. Addressing a group of demonstrators, Saddler says: 'I'm supposed to be out of town this weekend with my wife.

Baby girl bitten at dog amusement park ARAO, Kumamoto -- A baby girl required nine stitches after being attacked and bitten by an Old English Sheepdog at an amusement park for dogs here, police said. Operators of the Kyushu WanWan Okoku are being investigated for in a possible case of professional negligence resulting in injury. "We're terribly sorry," park operator Ichiro Futatsugi said.
