<p>Anjem Choudary, the extremist British Muslim who planned to rally in front of the White House today to call for the imposition of Muslim sharia law on the United States has announced he is cancelling the rally.</p> <p>In a video statement posted to Sharia4America.com, Choudary cites several reasons for the cancellation, among them blaming the media for distorting his message in advance of the rally and advice received from fellow Muslims to postpone the protest. Choudary claims he is postponing the rally, but does not mention when or under what conditions he will reschedule it.</p>
