Now, there could be several points of view. Perhaps this is some CIA misinformation video to cause Islamophobia -- or some vast right wing conspiracy, or Christians are responsible -- or no, maybe it's none of these. Maybe it's ... that's it, the Jews, they are behind it! There they go again! Or what if it is just as the video depicts? What then?

Twitchy headline says it all.Context provided by Erick Erickson at Red State: In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly today the President of the United States declared that the future does not belong to practicing Christians. Already, the media and the left are in full denial, probably based on their general lack of understanding of theology. This would have been a gaffe had Mitt Romney said it. But with Barack Obama, he’s just speaking bold truths. His bold truth declares that the future does not belong to practicing Christians. Pay careful attention to what he says: "The future...

And they'll get it, too. Once they do, the ones who get to decide what constitutes "religious hatred," as opposed to the telling of unpleasant truths, will wield immense political power, and become a protected class within society. Note also that the police carted off one pro-freedom voice, while Islamic supremacists are allowed to heckle and shout down counter-jihadists with impunity. "Protests against US anti-Islam film reach Scottish Parliament," from The Scotsman, September 21 (thanks to Twostellas): AROUND 150 Muslims have demonstrated outside the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh calling for a ban on offensive material such as the anti-Islam film...

Over the past couple of weeks, most of the drive-by media's attention has been focused on events in Libya and the American responses to it. For a quick recap -- Christopher Stevens, an American diplomat assigned to Libya, and some others in the consulate were violently attacked without warning and ended up dead...on 9/11. Ignoring the significance of the date, the Obama administration acted curiously: denying any possible connection to terror, and stonewalling with a pre-programmed chorus of disgust over a low-budget film (I've only just seen snippets on YouTube, and it made the movies spoofed on Mystery Science Theater...

Forget our Constitution. A New Jersey Imam wants to replace it with Sharia Law…for the “good of society”. Mohammad Qatanani, an Imam of one of the largest mosques in New Jersey, has declared that anyone criticizing Islam is a direct threat to our national security. He believes that “America should disregard its First Amendment…and instead act in accordance with sharia law for the ultimate ‘good’ of society“. Therefore, anyone suspected of speaking negatively of Islam or the Prophet Mohammad should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security. But, of course, if you want to cheer for the complete annihilation...

Not long ago I posted a story about a Muslim who had been kicked in the face by a horse he was trying to rape. Now it seems the same Muslim returned to the same place to do the same thing. This time he killed a horse, although we don't know if it was the same one.

Should we have the right to disobey Islamic law? The future of western civilization hinges on our response to this question. Right now people are suggesting that “hate speech” should not be free speech because when people blaspheme Mohammed, Muslim extremists riot and kill. “When some people use this freedom of expression to provoke or humiliate some others’ values and beliefs, then this cannot be protected in such a way.” – U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon The extended liberal argument is that if you make Islamists mad, you know they’re going to kill, so you bear some responsibility for those deaths,...

The statement Tuesday from the U.S. embassy in Cairo apologizing to Muslims and condemning “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims”—even as an angry, threatening mob was gathering outside the embassy compound—was no aberration. Though subsequently denounced by both the White House and the State Department, it has to be seen as part and parcel of Obama Administration policy, and it is not surprising at all that it would be the first reaction of the embassy’s communication staff. As recently as December 19, 2011, the U.S. voted for and was instrumental in passing “U.N....

The scene below was cut from the theatrical release, but is included in the Extended Edition DVD. This scene shows "The Mouth of Sauron" coming out of the Black Gate to treat with Aragorn and Gandalf. Given the following chant of the musloid political cult, and knowing that Sauron is the allegorical representation of satan, can you guess who "The Mouth of Sauron" is? "There is no god but allah (swine diarrhea be upon him), and mohammed (enthusiastic imbiber of swine diarrhea and fornicator with syphilitic sows) is his prophet." That's right, kids. "The Mouth of Sauron" character in The...

There once was a Constitution in this country. There once was free speech in this country. No longer. Shari'a is the new law of our land, and Barack Obama has brought it to us. The less bright among us still believe that the unrest in the Middle East is consequent to a ineptly produced movie denigrating Islam. Utter boneheads such as Anthea Butler tell us that "Sam Bacile" should be arrested because his movie denigrates the religion by depicting the faith's founder in several ludicrous and historically inaccurate scenes to incite and inflame viewers. Butler, who is either addle-brained or...

A screening of a controversial documentary on the history of Islam has been cancelled on security advice after its presenter was threatened. Historian Tom Holland's Channel 4 film Islam: The Untold Story sparked more than 1,000 complaints when it was broadcast. Holland was threatened online with a torrent of abusive messages on Twitter. A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "Having taken security advice, we have reluctantly cancelled a planned screening of the programme Islam: The Untold Story.

Muslim groups who staged an angry protest outside the U.S. Consulate at Gemini Circle on Friday afternoon, taking police and passers-by by complete surprise, claimed they had informed the police about their plans to hold a demonstration outside the building. M. Thamimun Ansari, a functionary of the Tamil Muslim Munnetra Kazhagham, which organised the protest, said there were less than 10 policemen with barricades and they were unable to handle the protesters. “We had already informed the police that there will be at least 7,000 people gathering at the Thousand Lights mosque at 4 p.m. But when we came here,...

WASHINGTON — The storming of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and the brutal murders of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, produced chaos this week in the so-called mainstream media. Instead of asking about how the heck this could happen in the aftermath of the Obama administration's Arab Spring euphoria, "reporters" started looking for scapegoats. The potentates of the press first focused their ire on something few of them even had seen — a puerile Internet video titled "Innocence of Muslims" — and then they turned their guns on Republican presidential...

Why stop there? Let’s round up the journalists who initially reported on Occupy and charge them with accessory to rape. Oh, wait, we have freedom of speech in this country? Silly us: (VIDEO AT LINK) MIKE BARNICLE: Given this supposed minister’s role in last year’s riots in Afghanistan, where people died, and given his apparent or his alleged role in this film, where, not yet nailed down, but at least one American, perhaps the American ambassador is dead, it might be time for the Department of Justice to start viewing his role as an accessory before or after the fact....

The material I have viewed, said to be linked to the US embassy attack, is purely and simply an incitement to religious hatred. I have just watched a YouTube video of clips from a film which, it is claimed, provoked the attack on the American embassy in Libya. It is impossible to completely authenticate them at this stage, or exclude the possibility the clips could have been doctored in some way by the uploaders. However, we do know that the film has been linked to riots in Egypt and the attack in Benghazi in which four embassy staff, including the...

The U.S. embassy issued a statement apologizing to Muslims offended by an unspecified film being produced inside the U.S. that allegedly insulted the prophet Muhammed.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy on Tuesday, tore down the American flag and burned it during a protest over what they said was a film being produced in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammad. In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words "There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger", a Reuters witness said. Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, some protesters tore it up and showed off pieces to television cameras. Others burned the remains outside the fortress-like...

McDonald's is at the centre of a row over Islamic values in Pakistan after a customer complained he was told not to sit beside his wife because managers feared it would damage the restaurant's family reputation. ~snip~ Mr Ansari said trouble started when he sat next to his wife and slipped an arm behind her shoulder. A member of staff told the couple to move but when they again sat beside each other in an adjacent booth it became clear that the issue was not their location, but the proximity of a man and a woman in public. In an...
