Yes, Townhall's website is re-loading perfectly fine. No, you are not reading the same news story again, though it certainly feels that way. And who could blame you for thinking that you have deja vu while reading about this case? On Thursday, ABC 7's Kevin Lewis reported that police in Montgomery County, Maryland have arrested an illegal immigrant on molestation charges. This has now occurred again, and again, and again, and again, and again. That's right, this is now the sixth individual illegally in the country accused of sexual offenses in one Maryland county in the past month alone. And...

ATLANTA (AP) — The Georgia Supreme Court has turned down an appeal from a teen who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for having sex with a 15-year-old. In a ruling released Friday, the court denied a motion for reconsideration filed by lawyers for Genarlow Wilson, who was 17 when he and the 15-year-old engaged in consensual oral sex. He was sentenced for aggravated child molestation. Wilson’s case was one of two cases that were cited earlier this year when lawmakers passed a law that otherwise strengthened penalties for sex offenders, but reduced the penalty from a felony to...

A Franklin County Common Pleas judge says he relied on testimony from two psychologists when he decided not to imprison a man who admitted sexually abusing two boys for more than three years. Judge John A. Connor came under fire this week from the man’s neighbors and victimrights advocates. In December, Connor sentenced Andrew S. Selva, 46, to five years of probation under intensive sexual-offender supervision, including one year of home confinement with electronic monitoring. Violating probation would mean eight years in prison. Selva pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual battery, a thirddegree felony that does not require prison...

Sex offender John Couey. Rumors are flying that Couey took Jessica Lunsford into his trailor through his bedroom window. All this happened in the pouring rain. This sounds like a pro to me. Has this man done this before? Is someone looking into the areas he lived before to see if anyone was missing?

Tuesday, April 12, 2005 By Bill O'Reilly As you may know, 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford (search) was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered. Convicted sex offender John Couey (search) has confessed to the crime. In the days before Jessica's body was recovered, police visited a trailer close to Jessica's house and asked three people who were living there if they knew anything about the little girl's disappearance. The cops went back to that place three times. But it wasn't until the third time, after Couey had fled the state, that the three individuals, Dorothy Dixon, Madie Secord and Matthew Dittrich admitted Couey...
