LOS ANGELES – The woman who was the teenage victim in the Roman Polanski sex case says he is not a threat to anyone and charges should be dismissed. Samantha Geimer, who long ago identified herself, told the Los Angeles Times in a story posted Tuesday that the case should have been resolved 33 years ago when it happened.

<p>At tonight's special School Board meeting, Principal Mike Shamblin will ask for a third time if the board will hear his complaints over his transfer from Tioga High School.</p> <p>In June, the Superintendent Patsy Jenkins autonomously transferred him to the principal post at Aiken Optional School after he has spent 23 years at Tioga High School. The transfer also came after Shamblin was fined for hesitating to report to police that a 17-year-old student was caught having sex behind the school with a minor student.</p>

<p>MINDEN - Continued concerns over jurisdiction have prompted the Webster sheriff's office to turn over to the Bossier Parish sheriff's office an investigation of alleged sexual misconduct among six DeSoto high school students.</p> <p>A North DeSoto High School girls basketball player last month alleged she was forced to perform oral sex on five boys basketball players as they returned from a game in Springhill. DeSoto sheriff's investigators conducted an initial investigation, which indicated the alleged sex acts started about 25 minutes after the basketball teams left a fast-food restaurant in Springhill, putting them in the Webster village of Dixie Inn west of Minden.</p>
