MINDEN - Continued concerns over jurisdiction have prompted the Webster sheriff's office to turn over to the Bossier Parish sheriff's office an investigation of alleged sexual misconduct among six DeSoto high school students.
A North DeSoto High School girls basketball player last month alleged she was forced to perform oral sex on five boys basketball players as they returned from a game in Springhill. DeSoto sheriff's investigators conducted an initial investigation, which indicated the alleged sex acts started about 25 minutes after the basketball teams left a fast-food restaurant in Springhill, putting them in the Webster village of Dixie Inn west of Minden.

I had not thought that the "jurisdiction" of this "revolving crime" would be a factor for law-enforcement officials. Perhaps the DeSoto superintendent wants it out of his jurisdiction. It would seem that the crime occurred on a bus trumps exactly where the bus was when the crime began or ended.

The "clinton Legacy" runs strong in the weak minded. That is why hillary is the leading Democratic candidate for President.

Sounds like no elected official wants to "touch" this.

Savages.

The North DeSoto High basketball players were separated on their bus when the alleged sexual contact occurred; however, the coaches were sitting in front of the bus. Will someone please explain to me how this can be occurring and the coaches in the front don't have a clue?

You are so right about the clintoid legacy. Imagine that there are actually people in the world who BELIEVE in Bill or Hillary Clinton! Some even bow down and worship their images, if not physically, then spiritually! This kind of blind partisanship reminds me of the biblical injunction against bowing down to graven images.

Knowing LA politics, this could probably best be settled if Senator Breaux intervened and read a "riot act" to these miscreants. Then things could go back to normal, and the people of Louisiana would cheer again! And it could all be done in time for Mardi Gras.

Coaches mandate: Win at any cost
Coaches method: Hear no evil, see no evil, speak of no evil
Coaches result: Keep your job, make no visible waves

Forced to do all five of them? If she'd bitten the first guy's penis off or at least chomped down on it with all of her might, there wouldn't have been any others.
The guy's screams would have alerted the coaches that there was a problem.

This is my neck of the woods. The girl gave them oral sex willingly. That's why the coaches didn't notice. Then, when word got around school she became embarrassed and made up the story about being coerced.
This HS has had a rash of sexual incidents this year. One involved a 40-year-old female librarian boffing a 15-year-old boy.

The "clinton Legacy" runs strong in the weak minded... Flat Earth Club insists that Clinton/Lewinsky BJ was first BJ in history.

Amen to that. The story smelled from the beginning. When I was in high school a million years ago, there was always a girl of poor judgment on a band bus I was riding on doing something on the sly with some guy. Later, when she became fearful for her reputation (too late, it seems) the story would inevitably change.
Dads, it's up to you to teach your girls not to play games with boys in private that they would't play in front of you by practicing what you preach. (I thank God now that He made me too ugly to be one of the guys in the back of the bus back then.)

This kind of blind partisanship reminds me of the biblical injunction against bowing down to graven images. I never thought of it that way, but it is a good analogy. People just seem to have to idolize someone or some family. I remember my Dad talking about people idolizing the Roosevelts. I remember them doing the same with the Kennedys. Thank God for George W, but it appears as if the Republicans are now trying to idolize the Bush family. I have already heard folks talking about George P Bush (Jeb's son). With the money falling under fewer and fewer centers of control, many people are already making the comparison to Mafias. Maybe it is just Monarchies re-establishing themselves.
To: Deb8
Just what I suspected. If I was the prosecutor, I would not consider charging these boys, even though their behavior was disgusting. This is a case where public embarassment is the proper punishment.

A little too much FreeThinking here at FreeRepublic, if you ask me.

I don't buy any of this. How long would it take to perform oral sex FIVE times. If the girl was forced, there obviously would have been protest coming from her, and a scuffle by the boys to "force" her, and even one boy with a conscience who would have come to her defense. A school bus is not exactly a 3,000 square foot house where you don't know what the kids are doing in another room. Sounds to me like these boys took the fall for a bimbo slut.
To: TightSqueeze
You are right. There are Republicans who idolize the Bush family in much the same unhealthful way that Democrats worship the Clintons. There are even some Republicans who still idolize Lincoln, I guess. A recent poll showed that Reagan, Kennedy, and Lincoln were the "best presidents" in that order among average Americans.
