President Trump on Sunday sought to pin blame on Democrats for what lawmakers described as faltering negotiations on border security funding. "I don’t think the Dems on the Border Committee are being allowed by their leaders to make a deal," Trump tweeted. "They are offering very little money for the desperately needed Border Wall & now, out of the blue, want a cap on convicted violent felons to be held in detention!" In a follow-up tweet, Trump suggested that Democrats "want a Shutdown" to change the subject from a week of difficult headlines. He referenced his State of the Union...

EL PASO, Texas People walking over the Paso del Norte Bridge linking this West Texas border city to Mexico can watch President Donald Trump’s border wall getting bigger in real time. Workers in fluorescent smocks can be seen digging trenches, pouring concrete and erecting rust-colored slabs of 18-foot-high metal to replace layers of barbed wire-topped fencing along the mud-colored Rio Grande, which is usually little more than a trickle. Most of the more than 70,000 people who legally cross four city bridges daily — to shop, go to school and work — pay the construction in the heart of downtown...

Was I the only one who caught the look on Whitaker's face when Roger Stone's arrest came up at his inquisition? Watch for the questions from Collins to Whitaker, especially when it delves into the timing of when CNN knew of the impending raid. Whitaker acknowledged that it would be illegal for a news media to be alerted to a raid while it was still sealed. His look at that point in time betrayed his thoughts of "... crap, they can take out the security clearances of Mueller's entire team with this one ...". Leaking a raid while it is...

Walls, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi insists, are “immoral.” The Democratic Leader of the Senate, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, opposes a wall. Democratic Congressman Hakeem Jeffries insists that a border wall would be “ineffective” and is a “fifth-century solution to a 21st-century problem.” And on and on go Democrats about their refusal to fund a wall along the southern border. But wait. When it comes to having walls and steel barriers to protect — themselves? Well, see for yourself. This week I took a trip to Capitol Hill, cell phone camera in hand, to see for myself just exactly what...

SANTA FE, N.M. -- The governor of New Mexico ordered the withdrawal of the majority of the state's National Guard troops from the U.S. border with Mexico on Tuesday, in a move that challenges President Trump's description of a security crisis. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced the partial withdrawal shortly before Trump's State of the Union address. Her Republican predecessor deployed National Guard troops to the border in April 2018 at Trump's suggestion, and 118 remained there before Tuesday's reversal. "New Mexico will not take part in the president's charade of border fear-mongering by misusing our diligent National Guard troops,"...

“A recent malware distribution campaign dubbed ‘VeryMal’ leverages an ancient technique called steganography — the hiding of secret information in plain sight — to distribute Mac malware,” Joshua Long reports for Intego. “The VeryMal campaign was caught distributing OSX/Shlayer, which was originally discovered by Intego researchers one year ago.” “Although the concept of steganography has been around for hundreds of years, it is not something we see in a lot of Mac malware campaigns,” Long reports. “The VeryMal campaign used some cleverly crafted JavaScript code to look for secret information stored within a seemingly innocuous JPEG image file. The hidden...

US aid to the Palestinian Authority’s security services will end this week at the PA’s request, senior PLO official Saeb Erekat said Wednesday, according to AFP. The move is meant to preempt lawsuits over alleged support for terrorism. The PA has demanded the funding stop at the end of January for fear it could expose the PA to costly lawsuits under the US Anti-Terrorism Clarification Act (ATCA), which comes into force on February 1. "The money will be cut off," Erekat told AFP, adding, "We don't want to receive any money if this will take us to court." .....

Rhino Hide is a completely new category of product made from a two-part composite-reinforced liquid and filled with a special aggregate. The blend is poured into small holes at the top of any standard wall. Once the wall is filled, the liquid chemically cures in a few hours to a hard plastic consistency. The formulated composite in this new product makes the walls or structures they are filled with impervious to projectiles from small arms fire or projectiles from extreme weather such as hurricanes or tornadoes.

The government shutdown, now in its 30th day and being the longest ever in U.S. history, has caused massive media coverage on Transportation Security Agency (TSA) employees and their fate due to the shutdown. This is precisely because the TSA could bring the country to a virtual standstill, and thus has more power than most to end the shutdown by pressure. Over this holiday weekend, sick call-ins for TSA employees not getting paid during the shutdown hit 10 percent, suggesting that the problem could spiral out of hand, despite the Agency’s insistence to the contrary. There’s plenty of reason for...

THE DEMOCRATS DON'T WANT A BORDER WALL BECAUSE A WALL IS PERMANENT AND CANNOT BE UNDONE BY A FUTURE DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT!! The Democrats will ONLY AGREE to "border security" that can be UNDONE BY A FUTURE DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT such as drones, sensors or other 'virtual wall' technologies THAT (UNLIKE A WALL) CAN BE UNDONE OVERNIGHT. The Democrats' motive is as SIMPLE AS THAT, PEOPLE.

<p>NEW YORK - An estimated 35.3 million people saw President Donald Trump and Democratic leaders speak to the nation on border security and the partial government shutdown.</p>
<p>That's about 10 million fewer viewers than Trump had for his 2018 State of the Union address. The Nielsen company said Wednesday it was similar to President Barack Obama's 2014 presidential address on fighting the Islamic state, which was seen by 34 million people.</p>

(snip) -- Variously described in appearance as a pair of fictional villains from a James Bond film to a modern version of the American Gothic painting, Sen. Charles Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had all the sincerity of used idea salespeople in their rebuttal to President Donald Trump’s appeal to the public for support of his border security effort amid a partial government shutdown. (snip) -- If the issue were not already, it has now become a contest of will between the president and Democrat leadership. While Trump continues to be Trump, Schumer and Pelosi on Tuesday night provided...

As much as they hate to admit it now, national Democrats were against illegal immigration before they were for it. All quotes guaranteed verbatim: Barack Obama, 2005: “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the U.S. undocumented, undetected, unchecked, circumventing the people who are waiting patiently, diligently, lawfully to become immigrants in this country.” Hillary Clinton, 2014: “I voted numerous times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in and I do think you have to control your borders.” Sen. Chuck Schumer, 2009: “People who enter...

Former national security adviser Susan Rice has penned a highly critical op-ed tearing into President Trump over foreign policy. The piece, “The Threat in the White House,” was published Sunday in The New York Times and details what she calls “dangerous dysfunction” in the Trump administration. In the op-ed, Rice wrote that the U.S.’s national security decisionmaking process is “more broken” than at any time since 1947, when the National Security Act become law.

America First In November of 2016, the American people elected Donald Trump to be our nation’s 45th President. He campaigned on a platform of bringing our troops back home from Syria and Afghanistan and focusing on an “America First” foreign policy. By announcing he was removing our 2,000 troops from Syria, the President is following through on another campaign promise. Syria is a hodgepodge of multiple terrorist groups, regional forces, foreign troops and religious fighters exerting influence. Our forces have been working with the Kurdish fighters in the Northeast section of the country fighting Islamic State terrorists. The operation has...

Let's read about the wall coming down from heaven. But first, where did this information come from ? We read in the first chapter of Revelations : The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him,to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things...

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration announced a new policy Thursday that will require asylum-seekers who enter the country illegally to return to Mexico while they await decisions on their asylum claims. According to prepared remarks before Congress by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, the U.S. has reached a deal with Mexico that will allow border agents to begin turning back immigrants who cross the U.S. southern border between legal ports of entry. "They will have to wait for approval to come into the United States. If they are granted asylum by a U.S. judge, they will be welcomed...

All your activity are belong to us Updated A feature introduced in the April 2018 Update of Windows 10 may have set off a privacy landmine within the bowels of Redmond as users have discovered that their data was still flowing into the intestines of the Windows giant, even with the thing apparently turned off.In what is likely to be more cock-up than conspiracy, it appears that Microsoft is continuing to collect data on recent user activities even when the user has explicitly said NO, DAMMIT!First noted in an increasingly shouty thread over on Reddit, the issue is related to...

Donald Trump has a name for everything and everyone, from Crooked Hillary to Little Rocket Man, who for a time became his best friend. Will he call the next region-wide conflagration in the Middle East, when it breaks out, Obama’s War? If he hasn’t thought of that already, he should start considering it now. Because the catastrophic policies of our former president have emboldened the Islamic state of Iran and enabled it to threaten the United States and our allies militarily in ways never before possible. When Obama took office in January 2009, he inherited a strong U.S. military and...
