    MIAMI (CBSMiami) – George Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, according to the Associated Press. Additionally, Zimmerman has been taken into custody, but it hasn’t been revealed where he is being held. Christopher Dankovich, 16, did not speak during his brief court appearance other than to acknowledge that he had agreed to waive the hearing. Judge Nancy Carniak did not set a date for arraignment, but it is expected to take place later this month. Lawyers for both sides said they were negotiating a possible plea deal.
