Sheehan selling land outside Bush ranch to radio host for peace memorial
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - When President Bush vacations at his Texas ranch he won't be hounded by Cindy Sheehan (SHEE'-han) any more. The Gold Star war mom announced Memorial Day she's quitting as the poster child of the anti-Iraq war movement. She's selling the five-acre piece of land she bought near the ranch as a protest headquarters. A spokeswoman for Sheehan says Los Angeles radio talk host Bree Walker is buying it for $87,000 and will preserve it as a peace memorial.
