Late-night hosts relentlessly made Donald Trump the focus of nearly all of their jokes before the presidential election, but failed to sway the voting, as revealed by a new study. A shocking 98 percent of the jokes made by Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and Saturday Night Live in the lead up to Election Day made Trump the butt of the joke, according to media watchdog group Media Research Center. Your humble correspondent will be watching Saturday Night Live this evening with great interest. Why? Because despite the Occupy Wall Street protests taking place at Zuccotti Park just blocks away from the studio for over a month, SNL has had only one indirect sketch on that situation despite the overwhelming comedy gold being offered up. Heavy Metal Band System of a Down got one over on "Saturday Night Live" last night. When the group performed "B.Y.O.B" from their new album "Mezmerize," the show repeatedly muted the F-word in the line, "Where the f--- are you?" But it missed guitarist Daron Malakian's screeched, "F--- yeah!" toward the end of the number. The camera even focused on him as he said it. Contrary to earlier expectations, Saturdays debate amongst the nine 2004 Democratic Presidential candidates at the University of South Carolina will not be televised live.Catherine Levine spokeswoman for ABC News in New York said that the earliest the rest of America (outside of the conference hall) can see the debate is at 11:35 PM Saturday when it will be made available, unedited, to all ABC affiliates accross the country.The 9PM EST start time is considered prime network time, Levine said, while everything after 11:30PM, is considered affiliate option.
