The son of the man arrested for the murders of Muslim men in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is now also implicated in one of their deaths. That's according to the Albuquerque Journal, which reports that 21-year-old Shaheen Syed is now in federal custody. Court records obtained by the Journal allege that Syed possibly helped his father surveil Naeem Hussain, who was killed on Aug. 5. Syed's father, Muhammad Atif Syed, has not been charged with Hussain's death. However, police said he is considered a primary suspect. Muhammad Atif Syed is charged with murder in the deaths of two other Muslim men,...

From Mississippi to Ontario, adults and children alike are being fed the most grotesque of lies. It's happening all over North America – including places you might think were too remote to even conceive of such activities. Take Missoula, Montana, where the local newspaper, the Missoula Current, reported last April on a group called Standing Alongside America's Muslims (SALAM), formed a year earlier “to push back against a rising tide of Islamophobia.” The Current report on SALAM, as it happened, appeared two weeks to the day after the deadly suicide bombing in the St. Petersburg, Russia, Metro, by an affiliate...

Democratic Party Conducts Outreach through Leader of Terrorist Group Debbie Wasserman Schultz and company's disturbing embrace of radical Islam. December 7, 2015 Joe Kaufman In a push to do outreach to the local Muslim community, the Florida Democratic Party has officially recognized the American Muslim Democratic Caucus (AMDC), a group based in South Florida with members around the state. While this might look innocuous on its face, AMDC is headed by a woman, Ghazala Salam, who is the leader of a terrorist organization and has deep ties to various radical Islamic institutions. Salam is the Community and Government Relations...

Lebanese politician Tammam Salam was named prime minister on Saturday after he won a sweeping parliamentary endorsement, pledging to bridge the country's deep divisions and shield it from the dangers of neighboring Syria's civil war. Salam was designated after the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Mikati, whose two years in office were dominated by efforts to contain sectarian tensions, violence and economic fallout from the Syrian conflict. His immediate task, if he is able to form a cabinet accepted by Lebanon's rival political forces, will be to prepare for a parliamentary election which is due in June but faces delay......

SNIPPET: "Moeed Abdul Salam didn't descend into radical Islam for lack of other options. He grew up in a well-off Texas household, attended a pricey boarding school and graduated from one of the state's most respected universities." SNIPPET: "It is not clear to what extent Salam's family knew of his radicalism, but on his Facebook page the month before he died, he posted an image of Anwar al-Awalki, the American al-Qaida leader who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen, beside a burning American flag." SNIPPET: "The family, originally from Pakistan, immigrated to the U.S. decades ago."

Cheney just blasted Obama yet again, a running criticism unprecedented for a former VP. Conservative blogger and new Daily Beast columnist Reihan Salam on why he's fighting the wrong war. Ever since he last helicoptered from the White House lawn, former president George W. Bush has very graciously kept his mouth shut, in deference to his successor and also to Republicans who are scrambling to make their way in a post-Bush world. The same can’t be said of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who is rocking the cable-news circuit with his apocalyptic baritone, most recently in an interview with Sean...

April 2, 2007 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Ahmed Salam, the radical Imam from Tilburg, Holland who outraged a significant part of the country's population in November of 2004 when he refused to shake the hand of then Dutch Minister of Immigration Rita Verdonk, on the religious grounds that he would not touch the hand of a woman, has not moderated his radical Islamist agitation. This despite having taken a integration course paid for by the Dutch government. In fact he is stepping up his campaign. Salam, who only speaks Arabic though having been in the country for...

But there is also bad news, namely growing confusion over who really is a moderate Muslim. This means that the ideological side of the war on terror is making some, but only limited, progress. The good news: Anti-Islamist Muslims have found their voice since September 11. Their numbers include distinguished academics such as Azar Nafisi (Johns Hopkins), Ahmed al-Rahim (formerly...
